Horrible service. Waited a month still waiting

"Ordered a month ago still hasn't shipped. Talked to customer service supposed to be on the way. Don't waist your time with this company. Total disaster. The customer service representative was great. He is all they have going for them."

Dispute credit card transaction if you ever want your refund

"Overton's is beyond corrupt. I purchased a ski mid-June; cancelled order via phone mid-July as said item had not shipped though website stated ships in 1-3 business days. I have waited for a refund since mid-July and called Overton's repeatedly asking for email confirmation of refund to no avail. The only thing I actually received from Overton's are tens of marketing emails asking me to rate my purchase. I disputed credit card transaction today (mid-August) and have no doubt I would never receive my Overton's refund without enlisting my credit card company. Incompetent, corrupt company to which I am currently providing an interest-free loan for an indefinite period of time."

Very unsatisfied customer

"Terrible company, i ordered a bimini top that i needed urgently. They took over 1 week after taking my order just to let me know by email that the color of my top was not available, and that they would let me know if my item would ever be available. I decided to switch to the only color that they had available, just to find out that they would take another week just to do the shipping of the item! This company lacks seriousness and the customer service is horrible. I will NEVER order anything from this company ever again. Bu the way, i have not received my refund yet."

Poor service

"Ordered product May18th. Canceled order June 2 as it had still not been filled. Received credit for shipping only. Have emailed with no response, and called customer service. Waited 18 and 23 minutes and still had not connected. Used to be a company with good service, now it stinks. "

WOW, has this company gone downhill!!! Horrible Customer Service

"Boy, talk about a fall!!! I had bought from Overton's in the past (several years ago) for my boating needs .. good prices, products, and quick shipping. I ordered a Sunbrella boat cover on May 21, 2020, and they charged my account immediately. Since then, ZERO communication, and the status of my order on their website is "In Process". I have sent 4 requests via email for an update on why the order is taking so long. ZERO response. I have called their Customer Service Help line 3 times ... sat on hold for 30-45 minutes and never got anyone to pickup ... again ... ZERO response. I sent Marcus Lemonis (CEO) ... who says in his tag line "If You're Happy, I'm Happy". Sent him an email expressing my unhappiness about lack of communication .... radio silence to-date.

I used to love shopping at Overton's .... but I can tell you this will be my last!!! And I'm giving them until the end of today to respond, or I am filing a Credit Card Dispute!! This company has gone from great to worst in my experience. I will not recommend them to anyone anymore.

Order placed on March 18..May 14 and nothing has arrived...

"Order placed on March 18. Back order notification received March 20. Several calls to customer NO service assured me the order would be shipping "shortly". Finally on May 5, I was told the item was now in stock and being shipped from a different warehouse in "a Couple of days" It is now May 14 and another call call to Marcus Lemonis V.I.P. Customer Service and I am told, it is in stock and should ship out in a day or two. WHAT ???? That was what I was told on May 8th. Overtons / Gander Mountain/ Camping World Customer care is WORTHLESS. I will NEVER do business with these companies again"

Billing policy

"Pay attention to their billing policy which is to charge your credit card when the order is placed and not when it is shipped. So, place an order, charge immediately goes on my credit card, simultaneously get a vague email saying item is back ordered and I'll be informed when it ships. Called and back order is 4 to 6 weeks. Have to cancel order to get refund. 4 days and still no refund."

Don't expect any help from this company (Overton's & Camping World) if you have and issues.

"Terrible place to buy from. Zero customer service if you have any issues, they don't even respond to emails. I sent Marcus Lemons an email (****@****) since his logo states "If you're not happy, I'm not happy" and I never received any acknowledgment of my issue. Just the standard "we've received your email…"
This isn't my first issue with this company but it is my last. Overton and Camping world are permanently off limits for my shopping needs.
I wish I had seen all the bad reviews for the company before I purchased from them!

Worse than horrible

"I ordered pontoon seats from Overton's on June 22 over the phone. I was told the order should ship in two weeks, due to a delay from the outside vendor. That worked for us. Two weeks later, I called to check on the order and I was told it would be another two weeks. I called again and they said it wouldn't ship until July 29. I called the end of July to check, and was told it would be another two weeks. I called Aug. 5 and I was told it would be another 6-8 weeks. So basically we waited the whole summer to get the seats and wouldn't get them until September, if then. They blamed the outside vendor. I cancelled the entire order. On August 12, 2019 I ordered pontoon seats from another company. They were delivered on Aug. 14, 2019. The only thing good I can say about Overton's was I did get credit issued in a prompt manner. Think twice before ordering from them."

Deplorable Service

"Called multiple times to try and get information about my order. Lack of communication and no tracking for my item. They have no problem taking the money out of your account the day you place your order, but good luck trying to get your order. You better have patience and not be in any hurry. 4 fenders took a month to get for my business and customer service did nothing to try and make the situation better. This is not how a company should conduct business and If I could rate lower, I would!"

Dishonest

"Will never order from them again, bait and switch. My suggestion to you before ordering read their reviews non of them are exaggerated, I dont know how they are able to stay in business. Waited three weeks for an order that was cancelled twice. I went to bass pro got my item. Buyer beware"

Overtons does not care....

"I bought a spring suit from overtons.....they advertise 3 to 5 days for normal shipping.....it took over 2 weeks and they sent me the wrong size. I called customer service after 9 days. They use Fed Ex which is the worst shipping company to use. The shipment arrival date kept changing, it changed 3 times, the other 2 dates, i made sure i was here to receive the order...after 830 pm on the second supposed delivery date, i checked online again, it then stated i would receive it the next weekend which was 6 more days out. Overtons kept telling me it was in new mexico (im in california) I told them i realize that but maybe you should cancel the order and reship it? I said I would have paid for expedited shipping if i knew it would take over 2 weeks....the 1960s had faster shipping. I told them i would pay for the shipping cost (they should have offered). She checked with her manager, he said expedited shipping would not guarantee i would get it in 6 days (the original order). The phone was quiet, they offered nothing. I hung up disappointed to say the least...i called fedex. I found out that fedex subcontracts with usps so its not really usps. (i would say usps is better than fedex) I know my wife ships her tradsey items through usps and they get back east much faster than 16 days....more like 3. FexEx told me usps has 2 weeks to ship overtons orders....sometimes it gets there sooner but their agreement is 2 weeks.....false advertising? Anyways no compensation no nothing just wait. I got home yesterday the 6th and there is my wetsuit, im excited i open it up.....its huge XL....im L. Now i have to return it. I can only imagine how this is going to be. I will not reorder ever from them. Im going to ripcurl and paying the extra 15.00 for the real deal. These guys are the worst ever."

Run while you can.

"I found myself completely disgusted by the poor customer service received. Due to this I fully intend to never purchase again from Overtons or any of its parent companies and will encourage everyone I can to do the same. I can honestly say without a doubt I received the worst treatment while attempting to remedy an easily remedied situation. This included blind phone transfers, being told I would be called back and being told the supervisor who just told the CSR an action to take was unavailable for me to speak with directly but I could leave a message and they would return my call in 1 to 2 days. All of this led me to believe Overtons does not care about following their price adjustment policy in any manner which benefits the customer. I have ordered a couple times before and thought I would have a much longer standing relationship with this company. Feel free to contact me about this but I really dont see that happening. I would strongly encourage the upper management to worry more about the customer service provided and less about the size of the flag flying overhead. The seats I ordered do seem to be very nice seats it is just a shame I'm wanting to return them solely out of principal. I hate to keep harping but I dont think I've never given a company/person a bad review as generally I am a quite understanding person and accept thing might happen to delay or damage items or anything else which might have occured. But this transaction has literally infuriated me enough to write this review. This all stemmed from Overtons refusing to price adjust the item price which dropped less than a week after I ordered it on their own site and still let me use the same coupon I originally. Used for purchase. I instead get told I can't use coupons on prior purchases even though I am not trying to use a new or higher amount coupon. A new customer could order from the site and take advantage of the discount coupon and the new lower price but since they already have my money they don't care to make it right."

"THEY Sent me wrong item...been 13 days waiting for a return label to be Emailed to me.....customer service wont call or email back....they received my payment in 10 minutes thru paypal...whats up???? Will never use again and will let everyone know about this experience ."
