"I'd been looking for a specific item, Shooter's Ridge Marlin 795 25Rd Magazines for my .22 rifle.

I called them to confirm they had the item in stock as it is a hard to find item and sells out quickly. They said there were 4 in stock. I immediately purchased three (3) through their website on April 17, 2012. (Order #1492), less than an hour after I called.

In short order they sent me two of the magazines, but not the third. When I contacted them for the third, they said they were out of stock. I've contacted them 3 more times since then, each time they've promised it's either on the way, they're looking into it, or they would resolve the issue immediately. I've never received the item. On the plus side they responded right away and were courteous. On the negative side they took my money and never fulfilled the order.

I've called at least a dozen times at different times of the day, I always get a voicemail on their number they display so proudly at the top of their site. The only way they respond is through email.

I would advise anyone to stay away from this vendor. You can put a shine on a turd, but its still a turd.
