Will NEVER buy from them again!

"Purchased a 45 piece everyday flatware set, Boutonnière style on 3/2/2020.
Within one washing in the dishwasher, all butter knives came out completely rusted and one small spoon was rusted. Looking further at my flatware, I notice their products are made in CHINA! I sent an email along with photos a week ago and no answer. I tried to call customer service and their mail box for messages are full and will not allow more messages. I looked on their return policy and Oneida wants ME to send back THEIR defected products at my cost! I am so angry that I can not speak to a representative and ask for a return label since it was their fault they sent me defected products. I also noticed on the Oneida.com web site they do not allow any reviews of their products and they fail to disclose that their products are made in China. I will never recommend them nor will I ever purchase another product from this company again. They don’t stand by their products. Buyer beware!!!

Black Friday/Cyber Monday Fail

"I have placed online orders with Oneida in the past and have had no issues. Come Black Friday/Cyber Monday, I had issues placing an order all weekend with errors on the website. I emailed them and called them. The CSR I spoke with was even having the same issues I was having, and couldn't complete my order. I called Tuesday (after Cyber Monday) - still having the same issues, and they WOULD NOT honor the discounts, even with notes in the system of the issues. Completely unacceptable, and will not order from them again. "

Defective Flatware-Horrible Customer Service

"We purchased a set of flatware, and 4 pieces had coating damage (scratches, marks, chips), so I called the customer service number on the package and left a message. Four days later I received a call back, explained the situation, and was given a list of things I needed to send them (photos of the packaging, bar code, model number, all the defective pieces, and the store receipt. That was 2 days ago. I received an email today letting me know that this set was sold under a separate company under Oneida's brand, and I would need to contact them (and start all over again). I will probably pack everything up, return it to the store, and purchase a different brand. LAST time I EVER purchase Oneida anything. "

False advertisement on their website

"I placed an online order on December 14th at 11am. Your site was advertising "still time 'til Christmas" and this was the reason I bought it from you and didn't go to the store! Because I didn't receive an email with a shipping tracking number, I called the costumer line and a lady told me that it was still in process! this was four days later. On December 20th I received an email saying that the item was shipped. I was really happy until I saw the Delivery date: January 3rd! This was a Christmas gift for my husband. I'm upset because you had a false advertisement and I needed to go rushing to the store to get something last minute.
Last email I sent to costumer service, they wrote me back with a link to track the package!
Worse shopping experience ever!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

"I wish I could give their customer service one star. The wrong set of flatware was delivered to me and not only could Oneida not understand that, but they brushed it off on the manufacturer. I had to call Oneida at least ten times as no one followed up with me after they were going to "dig further into the problem." When asked if I could have a prelabeled return slip for the flatware, the first rep said yes and that she would send it via email. When I did not get it, I talked to a male rep about it who stated there was technical difficulties and it would be mailed to my one address. He also told me to "RELAX and hold off calling for a while." Excuse me??? Well needless to say the return slip has still not come in the mail so I called again and it was told to me that they do not give return slips. So basically after a large problem I had to return the wrong item with my own money. AWFUL SERVICE. I will never buy from Oneida again. "

Terrible Customer Service

"I purchased several flatware pieces online from Oneida and paid an extra $14.99 for a guaranteed shipping within 24 to 48 hours. When I received no e-mail that the order had shipped as promised I called customer service. After placing 2 phone calls and waiting approximately 15 to 20 minutes for a representative to answer without success I sent an e-mail. I received no response to two e-mails that were sent requesting that the order be cancelled. I also requested a confirmation e-mail to that effect.

I called twice more without success. Bottom line, I had to contact the credit card company to insure that no payment was made. It involved much time and effort on my part. DO NOT order from this company.

It Made Me "Pick a Star" Before I Could Write a Review

"I wouldn't give this company 1 star at all if didn't have to.
To say this company is as Non-Customer Service Oriented is an UNDERSTATEMENT
Worst EVER. They use a foreign country for customer service reps to field your call. These guys could less what your questions are, what your problem is, etc.
And, If you choose the standard shipping 72-96 hours, you WILL BE WAITING THE 96 HOURS. So, if you need your order for a gift, pay the extra money, or you won't get it. WILL NEVER OREDER FROM THEM AGAIN. RIDICULOUS

"Oneida Teflon frying pan coating separated, cracked and flaked into food creating serious health risk. When Oneida was notified they told me that I had abused their product and that they had no responsibility for the defect. They refused to make any exchange or refund. When you pay $40 for a single frying pan you expect a quality product. Not a health hazard. "

"Astoundingly poor service in almost every area. First, all website pages are extremely slow to load. I placed multiple orders. It takes four days for an order to be shipped unless you pay them an extra $4 for Standard Premier shipping which specifies shipping within 24-48 hours. It took 48 hours for all orders placed this way. There is no way to cancel an order or to make any changes even though the order will not be processed for at least 48 hours and 96 hours if you do not give them their extra $4 for what would be normal processing speed anywhere else.. They are out of stock on commonly used items. I did not receive a shipping notification for any order even though the order confirmation email states that one will be sent when the order is shipped.
The only reason for two stars is because all items were received. Oneida really needs to get its act together.

"I will never order from Oneida's website ever again. I purchased several clearance/sale items from Oneida. Everything arrived dusty and some of the boxes were very torn. The glass pie dish I ordered had a hairline crack. It was cheap so I decided to just toss it out. One of the 4 sets of 5-piece dishes I purchased only had a single piece. I emailed Oneida and waited a few days but no one ever replied. When I called, the customer service rep was polite and promptly placed an order for a new 5-piece set for me but when the new set arrived, it only included 3 pieces. I've given up on trying to get a complete set."

"I placed an order 2 weeks ago. I was told that the order was on the warehouse and would be shipped right away. But it has not been shipped yet, almost a week after.

I think this site is either a very efficient scam or the most inefficient legit business in existence. Either way, do you want to find out after giving them your credit card number?

"The worst customer service I've EVER experienced. Do NOT buy from this website. Their checkout system is really bad and gives you no warning that your order will be placed without you getting to review it. And they don't let you cancel or modify your order no matter what, even though I tried calling immediately after I placed it ( they did not answer) and emailed right away as well. Terribly cold and rude."

"Stunningly bad customer service. The way I was treated I felt like I was dealing with some random eBay seller and not an established company. I made the mistake of placing an order, forgetting to use the coupon code that brought me to the site to begin with. I emailed asking the order to be canceled so I could resubmit with the code. No response so I called in the morning and was told that they could adjust the existing order. It was not adjusted. Long story short, I had to file a charge back through my credit card to get the adjustment. Emails about this were finally responded to after the charge back was issued and ... I already wasted too much of my time to go into great detail but they were defensive and rude - never once offering an apology for the mishandling of my order. Finally, after requesting a supervisor multiple times I was finally told "Your message will be passed on to our management team for review. Our apologies for any inconveniences." I have yet to get the response I asked for from management."
