Shady practice by old navy

"Bought 2 pairs of pants for 40% off. Only reason I bought from old navy was the deal because they don't have the best looking clothes. They reduced my discount to 25% without my say so! Pretty shady practice. My order was pretty small so I wonder how many customers you guys have done this to?"

Terrible

"I went to the one in the Westgate Mall in Brockton. I picked 4 tops and
1pair of pants. As the cashier was ringing up my items I noticed she was
charging me extra. Like tops that were 8 she charged me nine and the
pants which were marked clearence $3.75 she charged me $11:00. Once
again I brought this up at this point she called over another girl. This
girl had a rude attitude and proceeded to tell me the sales were only
for online. So I said that online it says come in for the sales. Then when
I asked for my receit all of the sudden the cash register crashed. They
asked for my email and said they would email me the receit. Well it never
came. Now I realize they did this so I couldn't see if I was over charged and I wouldn't be able to return anything. I will definitely never shop there again.

"Lousy service I had to call 3 times, 1st time they hung up on me. 2nd time they just quit responding and held me on the line till I disconnected. 3rd time it was past the hour to cancel an order, so they had to fill put a special form to cancel the order. Lousy Lousy Lousy customer service. I have to rethink if I want to ever buy from them again."

OLD NAVY = already 9 days passed and package only left CA
OLD NAVY is like a 100 year old turtle
if you want something fast = DON'T ORDER OLD NAVY
I guess that is why they have the name OLD

"I was at the store at San Antonio Northwoods area.
There was a little man with glasses trying to tell me that the word “straight” was akin to “rockstar or superstar” in it’s definition... that it was not actually straight when the label said so. I wanted jeans that were not tapered, and apparently that is not available anywhere in the store, so I said I want it straight and he said well the word straight is basically in the eye of the beholder. And so every Jean that he showed me was tapered when I was trying to tell him and show him physically with gesturing what straight jeans would look like, straight from the hip down to the ankle and not tapered. He just couldn’t understand what straight was...so I give you a one star only because there are not zero stars available to give.

Free 5-7 day shipping is a joke!

"I wanted to order 10 face masks from Old Navy, but didn't want to pay for shipping on a $20 order. So I ordered three tops (that I didn't really need) in order to reach the $50 minimum for free shipping. According to the website and my order confirmation, I would receive the order in 5-7 business days from the date shipped which was 7/30/2020. The UPS tracking site and the Old Navy site both indicated the package would be delivered on 8/6/2020. I have yet to receive the package and both tracking website have no additional delivery information since a destination scan in Jacksonville,Fl on 8/6/2020. Who knows when or where my package is currently located. So buyer beware! Don't trust that you will actually get your order in the 5-7 business days promised on the ahold Navy website!"

Worst customer service

"I called a few times this week to get a price adjustment, each time I was on hold for over half an hour and I had to hang up since I had other things to do. Since I bought items at 20% off and they were 30% off the next day I figured I would just repurchase everything and refund the original items. So then today I saw that everything was marked down to 35% off and I could have saved an additional $11. Tried calling three times and finally after over a 90 min wait got through to someone. Of course when I explained to him that everything I added to my cart was marked down and the reduced price showed up in checkout he kept saying that the original price did not reflect the discount so he didn’t think it met criteria fit price match. What an idiot! I had to repeat myself a few times until finally he agreed to give me back the $11 as a one time courtesy. They should stop acting like they’re doing you such a huge favor when they can’t even do their jobs right, total imbeciles. I would not shop from Old Navy ever again. "

Never receive refund

"I purchased 3 article of clothings on 4/8/20, returned two on 5/11/20 and still have not received a refund. Despite multiple attempts, the 800 number simply put me on hold for over an hour and then hang up. The online chat feature always gives the message "Sorry, no agents are available. Please try again at a later time!" Today is 6/11/20 and it is already a month and I still can not reach a live customer service representative. Old Navy needs to step up on their Customer Service Department as it is unprofessional and unacceptable to provide ZERO customer support. It is simply unethical to keep customer's money that which does not belong to them; this is equivalent to stealing. "

"I called and cancelled my order and A WEEK LATER they shipped it and charged me. When I called them and told them I had cancelled a week earlier, they said “yes we received cancellation notice but it’s just a request it’s not guaranteed.” Spoke with a manager who said the same thing and offered no consolation. Will never shop old navy online again. Called my bank and filed a dispute— charging me for something I cancelled a week in advance is fraud in my book. "

Never shop old navy online

"This was my second time attempting to order from Old Navy online. The first time, I guess they decided to just not even ship it, no confirmation email or anything. Never received ANYTHING in the mail. Trying to give them another chance, I ordered again and realized that my phone had my previous address as the default address, shouldn't have been an issue however, when trying to check online for the order it says order can not be found. So I decided to call, the customer service rep had no issue getting the order pulled up. When asked if I could change the address, she said they are unable to make any changes to an order but she could put in a cancellation request......Okay, well then lets get it cancelled right,and reordered? Nope they shipped the order out and I have had to jump through hoops to try to get this resolved, in the mean time, I still have not received a single email confirmation, shipment confirmation, or cancellation. I have called Old Navy 3 times, UPS, and USPS, it looks like no one is able to assist me with this issue. My hope is that the package is going to have to be picked up at the post office, if not I guess I will have to look for more telephone numbers in which I can try to get a refund. But I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM OLD NAVY ONLINE AGAIN!"

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

"I have been shopping at Old Navy for over 25 years. I have a credit card with their company and have for years. I have done most of my clothing shopping for my five kids, and now their spouses. Well I went in August to buy matching clothes for my whole family (9 people) for family pictures. I spent over $700 that day. I went in last week to return 2 pair of jeans and 4 blouses that didn't work, and all of them were unworn with tags still on them. I had my original receipt. The lady at the register told me since it had been over 45 days, she had to give me the sale price. I told her that was fine, and asked why it wasn't 90 days like it was in the past, but that I understood the policy. Then she said she could only give me in store credit, and again I said it was fine, even though I would have preferred credit back to my Old Navy card. Then she rang it all up, and it came to just over a hundred dollars. She put the clothes behind her and then turned to give me my receipt and she said, "Oh I'm sorry, your return has been rejected." I asked her why and she said I would have to call the company on the receipt and there was nothing she could do. So I had her gather the clothes up and I left. I had other errands to run and so I called while I was driving around. I was on hold with that company for 47 minutes. When the man finally answered, he asked for the transaction ID number. I gave it to him 4 times and he said there wasn't anything under that number. So he asked for my license, and he said the same thing. He said I had to go to the customer service counter at Old Navy itself to resolve it. At that point I couldn't get back to Old Navy before it closed so I went again tonight. I explained to the girl at the register what had happened and asked if there was anything I could do to return the clothes. She said, "we can just return them as if you didn't have your receipt." Odd, because I did, but I said that was fine, please just return them. So she rung them all up and asked for my license. So I said, is my license going to be attached to the last time I tried to return them? And she said No. But sure enough, it was, so my return was rejected again. She called her manager and he said there isn't anything he can do, apparently my license has locked me from being able to return anything at Old Navy because I keep trying without my receipt. I am livid. I have never returned anything there without a receipt, AND they can look it up on my credit card statement. So now I have a bag full of clothes that don't fit, and Old Navy employees and managers that said it's out of their hands. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE in the world! Those clothes are still hanging in their store, they are from less than 2 months ago, not 2 years ago. To top it off, I went tonight to return a pair of jeans to American Eagle that I also bought on picture day and they happily gave me my money back. And then to JC Penney to return two shirts from the same day, and they happily returned those as well. If I could give Old Navy zero stars, I would. I am SO disappointed by the way I was treated in both stores and I'll do everything in my power to convince everyone I know to never set foot in another Old Navy again."

Slow shipping

"I used to shop alot at old navy, but stopped years ago because they used to use FedEx smartpost with the post office and it was so slow I just stopped shopping with them. Last week I found that they don't use smartpost anymore, so I decided to order from them again. Well turns out they found the same exact service with UPS. So now my package is in limbo between UPS and the post office. Very disappointing. I will not be shopping with them again. Amazon, Walmart, and Target all are able to get items to me quickly and painlessly, yet for some reason Old Navy just cannot do it. Thanks for reminding me why I stopped shopping at Old Navy in the first place. "

Old Navy women

"Old Navy doesn't know their own sales. Have a difficult time with the associates. They don't know what's on sale so why put it on sale. Also they mix sale items with regular price items to confuse sellers .. I took back a pair of pants and never got the credit when I purchase the other items state did a printout of receipt that doesn't even make sense also the things that were on sale they said it wasn't on sale they just made a big deal and a big issue about it. They said they will honor it but me while they charge me the same thing. Blouse was 2499 - $10 wife beaters supposed to be $6. They charged me 999 dollars so they overcharged me on the wife beaters on top of that I took back a pair of pants that were 1199. Still they owe me money need to go back today"

"I am writing to express my upset over a recent incident at the Old Navy store in Niskayuna, NY. I went to return a pair of pants which I purchased for my daughter. The pants were damaged at the zipper. I did not have my receipt, however all of the tags were attached and intact. I did have the credit card they were purchased with, as well as the appropriate ID. The general manager was able to find evidence of the purchase, the price I paid for them and the date they were purchased on the computer. I was told that I had missed the ’45 day’ return deadline for Christmas purchases, and as result I could not receive the amount I had paid for them. This despite the fact that they were damaged. I tried to reason with the general manager, Greg Towe, however he was immovable and inflexible.

This was the worst customer service I have ever received. Given the fact that the pants were damaged it seems that accomodations should have been made to rectify the situation rather than digging heals in and refusing to assist. I will never set foot in Old Navy or any of it’s affiliates again. Perhaps further education should be provided regarding customer service, being fair and cultivating relationships with consumers in the community.
