"Exceptionally bad service when it comes to calling back for problems report, give excuse after excuse that this is not there problem, when on the phone with them hard to understand the people talking to you, keep giving you new case file numbers each time you call and saying the previous case file was closed and getting no call or email back. It has now been almost three weeks since my computer was badly compromised due to installation of renewal subscription and have still to date not received any type of communication back on this issue. Have gone with bitdefender software after looking into reviews and talking to people with this program. Excellent and knowledgeable people and service each and ever time. Norton products over the years have become a poor product now, would not recommend anymore. On a final note I was a Norton customer for well over 10 years and this is the way they treat repeat customers."

Slow antivirus software ... want my money back

"I bought Norton antivirus online from their website to make sure I don't get duped by duplicate online sellers... paid a premium on that as well. it did catch lots of trogans and malware on first scan.. but now my windows10 laptop hangs badly... whats the use of antivirus if i can;t use my laptop at all... yeahh?"

"I have been using Norton Security on my Windows 10 laptop and after having used for fair amount of time, I can say that I am very satisfied and have recommended it to my friends and family too!
The new User Interface is just so simple, clean and modern with all the features so straightforward and easy to use. And the good thing is that you don't even need to do anything. The Norton Security takes care of everything in background without intimidating you with unwanted pop-ups and notifications. The internet protection and mail protection is what I am most satisfied with. Does good enough job with the system programs and file protection though.
Overall, I would say this new and modern Norton Security is not what it used to be about years ago. It is lightweight and low on system resources but hard on the viruses and any theft.
Bottom line:- I would surely recommend it!

"I have had norton protection since 2007. something hosed up my windows internet explorer. I got hold of norton after trying for 3 days. They said their settings were ok and for me to call microsoft windows. microssoft said they would fix it for $148.00. Why didn't norton protect me and why did they not try to fix the problem. norton and microsaft have lost a customer."

"Good Day
On Saturday December 6th-2014 I was having some problems with our laptop, Norton 360 was doing a scan and then it stopped our computer also locked up a few minutes later. I shut down the computer as it was getting late and would look at it Sunday. Sunday morning I was up and having my coffee reading the news on the computer. I went to open Norton to start a new scan nothing happened it wouldn’t open. I than decided to uninstall Norton and reinstall as your website stated trying, I turned the Windows Firewall On and uninstalled Norton. I than tried to download and install the program again it would down load and nothing happened? I tried this on numerous occasions still nothing. This Norton 360 was good until July-th-2015. Somewhat frustrated at this point I purchased a full blown new Norton 360 down loaded it with the same outcome it wouldn’t install I tried this a few times and the same outcome. I opened up a chat session with a man named I think Rumal? Told him what had been happening and he asked if he could take remote access of the computer which I allowed him, he tried numerous times as I had tried to install the program automatically he asked if he could try a manual install I said go ahead. He worked away for a while nothing this is where it gets strange. He opened up some part of my computers software with what seem to be a lot of files he moved the mouse up and down as each file had a box, he finally went to the top clicked one box that disabled all the files. This was a lot of files, I lost internet, audio first than the computer just shut down and I had a blue screen nothing would run computer would not reboot in safe mode. I really would like to know what section of software Rumal disabled. I tried installing my windows software from the internet but it wouldn’t work it just kept saying this key won’t work on this computer when I entered my KEY #. But this is the key that was sent to me by email when I purchased windows 8 over the internet. So I went to the local Staples store on Monday and purchased a brand new full version of Windows 8.1 took it home and installed it with no problems. I than installed Norton 360 over the internet and it installed no problems.
I’m interested in what Rumal has to say as it seemed that he was frustrated and for some reason disabled a whole bunch of files and screwed up my computer.
Here is the email that I received I was using our 8 year old desk top. We were not disconnected my computer was destroyed by someone who didn’t know what they were doing.

"I had used Norton 360 for several years with no problem. I got a error message and the program stopped working. Tried support which was slow connecting and couldn't fix the problem. Tried removing 360 and reinstalling but it said my account had expired bought on 4/19/2014. Asked for a partial
refund but was refused. Went with another security company.
