"After much research on the web and through printed catalogs, I decided to order a half helmet to ride my bike with from NexL Sports/NXT Helmets... Their's seemed to be the best. I sent a postal money order with my order for $154.95(a lot of money for a half helmet- but it's suppossed to be the best, right) on 6/13/07.
Very soon after I recieved a email conformation of my order for a flat black half helmet- order #6607. The email included a note that orders were backlogged and to expect a month long wait before prosessing and to reply to a "gabby@nexlsports" with any questions. So far so good, I can wait alittle longer for "the best". So I wait a tad over a month and email "gabby" to ask how my order is going. No reply from "gabby" ever comes. I email again a week later, still no reply. I try again; nothing.
So, I go to the website, which is still operating fine, and fill out a form to contact someone. I wait. Nothing. I do it again. Nothing.
SO, now I call the 1-800 number and get a recording and I leave a message. No one calls me back. I call again, same message, leave another message, nothing. I try calling at different times and dates; same message every time, no one ever answers the phone and no one sure as hell ever calls back.
Now, I'm angry.
It's over 2 months and going on 3. So I contact the BBB on the web and file a complaint. They give the company(NexL Sports) 1 month to reply.
They never reply.
Now it's over 3 months and I'm REALLY angry.
The company, meanwhile, still has a fully functioning website, full of swell info and even sweller promises and they're taking orders on a daily basis.
They also took my $155.00 dollars and disapeared into thin air.
