wrong info on advertising...product didn't work.

"I ordered a power adapter for a Skil screwdriver. According to the copy on the site, the universal adapter fit the model I have. I ordered the unit, and it did not work. The adapter connectors (there were 7) did not fit. The ordering info was wrong. I tried an on-line chat, which froze up. Then I called. I got a nice young man (after a 10 minute hold), who finally suggested I choose a password, create an account (I did a one-time order to avoid that drawn out mess) and wrap up and return a $14.95 item.

Overall, the service was sloppy, copy was incorrect and not worth the trouble of creating an account which I will NEVER use, after this mess.

The kikker was, after basically saying I had a problem, I was asked "Is there anything ELSE I can do for you?".

NEVER!

The adapter is going in the trash as I speak. This is the worst on line service I have had for years.

Customer service above and beyond

"Purchased a new item from a Newegg affiliated vendor and was shipped refurbished. Newegg representative contacted the seller, asked for my permission to provide email information to vendor, requested a RMA label on my behalf and sent follow up email. If you need a reason to purchase from Newegg website - besides great price and product availability - well this is it!!"

No real communication with it's resellers

"Last 2 orders were both incorrect and when Newegg "tried" to communicate the issues with the resellers, they either claimed no communication was received or I had to follow up with multiple phone call to both the seller and newegg. And both we not solved to our satisfaction."

Big debacle on prepaid order

"Left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing (sales/shipping)(accounting). Nobody knew the order had been paid for for a week. I had a lot of explaining to do to MY customer. But once Dani Raigosa got involved, things smoothed out quickly, and sun began to shine again! Great job Dani !!"

Poor communication and painfully slow shipping.

"Ordering from Newegg Business was an absolute headache. I ordered a processor from them on November 27th. I received a notification that the shipping label was created the next day. For the next several days, no updates to the shipping status. I finally got curious as to what was going on and called them on Monday to figure it out. As it turns out, the shipping label must have gotten lost because the product never shipped! If I wouldn't have called, I probably would never receive the product that my credit card had already been charged for!

They did finally ship it, but I still have yet to receive it! No offer to next day it to me or anything after they completely dropped the ball. As of today I have been waiting 10 days for this processor, and the wait continues. I ordered parts on the same day from OutletPC, which also has a warehouse in California and received the parts in two days. I now have a fully built PC that I cannot use. I will NEVER, EVER order from Newegg Business or Newegg again after being a customer of theirs since the nineties.

"It took a while before my call was answered by an actual person. It's the holidays so I can understand that. Dani, the person who helped me was patient and professional. I have several orders that needs returning and she took it and confirmed the numbers with me. I would have given a 5 stars but she can't help me with my RMA for the other items I purchased from other vendors selling thru Newegg. "

The business payment structure needs a overhaul. The customer service is phenomenal!

"I ordered various merchandise for my business. It processed my order has multiple simultaneous transactions going at once. My bank understood it as fraud which caused lots of confusion. Then I spoke with Jamie.L.Farfan, wow, never in my business or personal history in dealing with customer service reps have I encountered such a wonderful person. Jamie is sweet, kind, eccentric, caring, and intelligent. These are not qualities you would see in a service rep. Jamie explained what had happened with clarity AND resolved the issue quickly. Jamie even went a step further to call me the next day to verify everything had be resolved. Truly a magnificent employee. This rating doesn't justify Jamie's resourcefulness or kindness. Jamie is a leading example of what service reps should aspire to be!"

Outstanding Customer Service

"I can't describe my frustration over my situation by using mere words--suffice it to say the agent who assisted me (Dani) has put my fears to rest. Normally, when dealing with any C/S, you come away with many unanswered questions, with doubts that continue to hang over you.. not so with Dani. I'll be able to sleep tonight knowing my case is in good hands and that I don't have to jump thru a bunch of hoops to get some sort of satisfaction. Was very thorough and efficient. Great Customer support

"Recently order a touch screen monitor. Tracking indicated that it had arrived at local Fedex site but wasn't delivered. Called Customer Support and they saw the same thing. Merrick was super. He contacted Fedex and found out what the problem was. He established a three party conference call and we resolved the problem. Thanks Merrick!!"
