Complaint:
I did some online shopping at a store in AZ Arizona
They sent me a Used - broken camera Zoltrix webcam < More about it below> They messed up my Bank account with a double billing
I had to pay long distant phone calls to get it fixed Bank account
The webcam was a Zoltrix Eagle
It came in a junk box not the original box
No manuel
CD was scratched
the cam its self was scratched and in wrog packaging
It had no mounting brackets
I hooked it up and Nothing nothig I tryed worked it was broken
Diffrent computers and OS and nothing Junk
I had to pay $ 10 in Long distant calls about the matter
They wanted to ship me a New CD if they could find or get one that was not scratched
They tryed to walk around me shipping it back to them
They sent me this notice {Below }

Please use the following return information:

Your RMA # is 2003 (please write Attn:RMA# on the outside of the shipping box).
RMA #'s are valid for 30days (after 30days a new number must be issued).
Your RMA # is good for the Zoltrix Webcam only.
Please be sure to include any cables, books, cd's, etc.
If we find the item(s) to be defective we will replace and ship at our cost.
Motherboards older than 30days, may have to be returned to the MFG. for replacement/repair.
We charge a $15.00 ($35.00 for Barebone/Complete Systems) Diagnostic and Shipping fee for non-defective returns.

I talked to pete and was assured to get my 44 + Shipping back as well I have the Phone Records long distant charges as well
Please Help put an end to their bad business practices

Settlement Explanation:
I want the $5 they still owe me + $ 6.32 for shipping and $10 for the long distant calls I had to make because of their Bad Business dealings { double billing ~ Used Broken Products 1/4 missing parts ~ Shipping back to them
Pete Said I would get my full Refund and Shipping + Xtra for all the Trouble and I have not seen this They only refunded $39

Please Help put an end to their bad practices

"Everything started out ok. The box shipped as expected, however, when I received the box, and tried installing the operating system (windows 2000), the installation crashed everytime. Well, after fidgetting around with the memory settings and setting them to the slowest possible setting, I realized that what happened is New Tech sent me extremely inferior DDR RAM. After emailing the company, the response was, "isn't it great that they make motherboards that will support different RAM - remember all RAM isn't created equal". This told me I was dealing with some incompetent people who purchase inferior RAM. Well, that wasn't the only thing that went wrong with this product. After hours and hours of trying to figure this out, I finally got the OS to install. However, after installing the OS, and all the drivers and whatnot, everything looked ok. I plugged in the network cable to get connected to my LAN and for some reason it didn't work. I tried EVERYTHING. I finally resorted to emailing the company. After a day, New Technology responded, informing me to try some things and that they've never "seen" this before. I went through all the processes, taking screen shots and sending them, etc, etc. Finally it was determined that I would have to send back the motherboard. I really didn't want to do this, but I did anyways.

This is where the real nightmare begins. I needed this PC to work properly for business. So, I overnighted them the motherboard for replacement informing New Technology that I needed the board for business, and would be buying several more computers if they handled this well. Well, apparently they aren't interested in keeping their customers. I wish I would have read the reports on resellerratings.com before buying from these scam artists. Anyhow, the company said that they "might as well go out of business if they sent the motherboard return back overnight". After hearing that, I realized even more that they are a bunch of jokers, who aren't really interested in doing business, and they might as well go out of business with that attitude. I mentioned to them the guarantee on their website : "We guarantee that all items work upon departure of shipping." Well, don't believe it, if that were the case, I wouldn't even be writing these comments in their rating. They don't test anything they send out, and you can rest assured that items you order may or may not work when you get them. I mentioned to them about their guarantee and that they should have tested the motherboard before shipping it to me in the first place and that they should at least make good on the guarantee by overnighting me a replacement. However, this didn't make any difference, and it was still a 3 WEEK TURN AROUND!! From the time I placed the order, till almost 8 weeks later, I didn't have a working product from this vendor. Unfortunatley for Yahoo! stores, this isn't the only bad experience I have had with a Yahoo! merchant, and have vowed to myself that I will NEVER EVER buy from a Yahoo! store again! It seems they are either scams, shams, or just plain don't care about their customers, or making a sale.

"I found them on pricewatch.com and in the end I wish I never had.

I purchased a barbone system, that was suppose to have the processor and heatsink installed.

When it arrived it was tapped up in a ball stuffed in the case. So much for buying barebone.

After further inspecting my invoice I noted they shorted me ram I ordered a 512 module and recieved a 256. After calling repeatably over a three hour period someone finally answered at the 1 800 free number to tell me to call tech support..a none free number. Tried calling them 2 hours later finally got through. Went through two people had to explain my problem twice (which seemed pretty simple). They demanded I send the wrong module back first before sending me the correct one that I ORDERED!! I explained that the computer was already up in production and I would prefer them to send me what I ordered, and hold the old one on my credit card to ensure they would get paid. The guy on the phone wasn't empowered to make the descion, was on hold ten minutes finally got the manager who's first words to me on the phone were "not on your life", and "You better send that back insured or you will never get your ram".

I have honestly never had such bad customer service in my life, I have been ordering parts online for years and this one tops my worst expierience ever.

My suggestion is you avoid this company at all costs. I wish they would just take down there website and deal locally in arizona. They obviosly aren't ready for the big time.
