"I ordered the remote control for a specific TV model number. What came was more modern looking remote control that was all sticky, as if the rubber at melted. It did NOT control my TV. The return policy is extremely customer unfriendly. You have to pay shipping both ways with a 15% restock fee, even if the item doesn't work, and you have to do it within 5 days - which is ambiguous if they don't even know when the item was delivered. Avoid this store if you at all can.
Any universal remote control from Amazon would be a much cheaper and reliable solution than newremotecontrol.com "

They have a message which states to use email for returns within 5 DAYS of receiving the item with an authorization number from them. How can I get an authorization number when the ignore all forms of communication. ALSO READ their Policy for RETURN carefully there is 15% restock fee & postage charge even if the item is broken. "BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Long story short after confirming that the remote in question was an in stock item prior to my placing my order. Once my order was placed and card charged my remote suddenly went on a "National Backorder" I was given a date of delivery on 2 separate occassions only to have those dates come and go without a remote delivery... Finally on the day prior to the 3rd scheduled delivery date, a full 2 months after placing the order the remote arrived.... Or I should say, a remote arrived!!! I ordered an onkyo Rc687m remote. What I recieved is a Integra knock off of the remote that I ordered!!! When I checked the sight to verify the parts number the price for the remote that I ordered had been changed to $89.99 up from the original price of $54.95 and you guessed it!!! The Integra remote was now priced $54.95!!! But there are these little things called invoices and my invoice clearly shows the price and part number of the Onkyo Rc687m!!! Classic bait and switch!!!! Based on the experiences of others indicated in the reviews I will not waste my time or additional funds dealing with the return process... But this site is obviously run by scumbags!!!
