Worst Customer Service I have experienced

"Placed an order for pens and tablets, was told 7-10 days. Received tablets in timely manner, after two weeks of not receiving pens, emailed & left messages for sales rep numerous times/day inquiring about order status with no reply/call back. Call into customer service to discover the pens were out of stock. No email, notification what so ever!! Needed product in time for a certain event. Was told that they can't help me and wouldn't credit me on my partial order that I did receive. Calls into customer service were pretty much useless, was told on 2 occasions that supervisor would call me back. No call back, Shocker!!! Placed another call to customer service and spoke to Jennifer!! She was fantastic (the only one out of 5-6 people that would actually help me) and agreed to credit us a partial credit on item we did receive due to their poor customer service! I will never do business with them again!"

The worst

"I ordered pens, they came a week after I was told the would arrive, that could be UPS fault. They are not what they were supposed to be and 4 have broken the first time they were used, I called to return them and was told I could but I still had to pay for them. So they discounted them for me to keep, then the next day sent me a past due invoice via email adding back the discounted amount. I called as for a manager or supervisor impossible to get one 97 minute hold, finally someone comes on the line not a supervisor, so now I as for US representative, currently 31 minutes into holding for one. I told them I was upset and wanted to talk to someone for resolution and nobody would help. This is the worst company, I told them I would take by business elsewhere and they said I was free to do as I wanted but still need to to pay the invoice with the late fee.
important to note the pens arrived September 4th , invoice is dated Aug 25th.

Buyer beware..

"They will try and strong arm you into paying a larger amount than the original contract states once the product is shipped. Very deceptive practices and would not make good on the original amount. "

Horrible customer service

"Placed and order was never notified that the item was discontinued. Called placed another order and 1 week later was told it was out of stock. And not notified. Tried a third time and was told it would take at least 10 days to receive. Says that was unacceptable and they hung up on me and cancelled the order. When I called back they too bad. "

Our order turned out great

"We just placed a pen order end of May and I was expected some delays with Covid-19 business hardships. Order was placed May 23 which was a Saturday and I received proof May 28 (four business days later), received pens June 3 (8 business days total including shipping). I opted for 2 day shipping to help make sure I would get well before our event. I was really pleased with how fast we received and how nice they turned out and at a price that worked for my tight budget. Customer service response on emailed questions regarding my order was within 24 hours; friendly and helpful service. Thank you! :)"

Worse Customer Service !!

"Worse Customer service I have ever experienced. We had never done business with National Pen Company but received a Promo pen and it looked GREAT! It had a order form to go online and enter a Promo code and receive 100 of these pens for $100 plus tax, I did that and it auto populated all the information. Every thing looked good the Promo Pen Said Bailey's Mechanical. UNTIL we received the package of pens and a invoice. The quality of the pen was great BUT it said Bailey’s Mechanical. Not Bailey's Mechanical. I emailed and never heard back from anyone and finally got through on the phone. I spoke to a supervisor who told me they had emailed us a proof! Which we NEVER received , Even checked SPAM but told me the only thing he could do is apply a discount to my next order! WHICH is ridiculous to ask me to pay over $100 for pens we CAN NOT give away! I explained to him I never received the email and that not only was it spelt correct on the promo but my Invoice was correct as well. Again he refused to correct this issue just kept telling me he had proof they sent a email. When I asked him for his name he told me Alton and refused to give me his last name, I told him I have never had a company supervisor refuse to give me a last name and with an attitude he told me it was Alton Campbell! I explained to him that we are a new business and I was looking forward to becoming a long term customer and I could not believe the way we were being treated! Again my Promo Pen was correct! The Name on the Invoice was correct and the Name is also our email address but National Pen company REFUSED to credit the account and correct the Issue!! Lost a GREAT CUSTOMER"

I thought I would give them a chance< was I wrong!

"I saw some bad online reviews, but thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Boy was I wrong. I tried to order some custom pens with my info. Order placed Feb 6. I didn't get a proof to approve until I emailed them a week later asking about my order. Took them several days to reply and the proof wasn't as expected. My simple request, " Go with the red barrel instead of the black ones". Several days later I was contacted by a different CS rep, so i responded with the same info. A week later still no response. I left at least 3 emails, call the CS rep direct phone, left 2 messages and never got a call backed or picked up..

Frustrated I call the general CS line. A different rep who also could not get ROBIN MILLER cs on her phone. The Cs person said he forwarded the 5 day non response to the supervisor who was going to make sure Robin responded.

Several more days and Robin responds with the "I didn't get your email/call" I pointed out in the email thread that she was responding there were 3 different emails from me. No apologies just glosses over that fact.

Next for some unknown reason my order changes and the amount of pens I ordered was reduced, no explanation given. Couple more days I email asking for an order update and then told production would take 5-10 days.
TODAY, several more day later I get an email stating "The the pens you want are out of stock and if I wanted to change the pen color?" REALLY! Cancel my order.

There site says 3 day rush shipping. They don't tell you that custom order will take a week in production. Terrible communication via email or phone. No way to tell the status of your order (ie needs approval, pending, in production), Save yourself the headache and get pens somewhere else.
I had a mail promo all planned around Tax season. You would think 2 months head start would be enough time. This company has hurt my business as the planned promo now is not possible. Booo ! National Pens.

Horrible and worse experience ever!

"Worst company I’ve ever had to dealt with. Ordered pens in advanced for an event and my pen was out of stock. No one called to lmk it was out of stock meanwhile I was just waiting and waiting thinking my order was going to be here.
I tried to follow up and left messages many times to my “assigned rep” and in 3 weeks, she never responded once. I finally spoke to another service rep Shaniek Hayley who I spend hours on the phone with to fix this problem and she assured me I was going to get my pens before my event. Today is the day of my event and they are still marked “in production.” What a joke of a company Peter Kelly. Don’t order from this company if expect them to follow through with your order.

Scam

"I received a sample pen with our logo from this company, after 2 weeks we got a box with 300 pens only with our logo, not address, not phone number. A week after the box arrived a bill for $ 226.94. We never placed any order. Now they don't want to take it back, and we refuse to pay for something that we wont be able to use and we never ordered.

Should have known better

"It was an excellent price on gel pens, or so I thought. They won't let you pay for them when you place the order online, so I called and tried to pay. I really wanted to know what my final cost was. You don't get that until the pens arrive, with the bill. The final cost was about 2X the cost of the pens alone. The pens were sloppily assembled, I had to screw them together but they looked nice and wrote nice. However, they ran out of ink after a short time of use. Here's the best part, it took them a long, long time to get to me. Two weeks later, I mailed them a check. They cashed it about 2 weeks later, then sent me a bill with a $25.00 late charge attached.
Now I know how they make their money. The reason I say I should have known better, was ten years ago, I ordered pens from them. I had a family emergency so I asked them not to ship them until a later date, because I had to be out of state. They shipped them. Who knows when they arrived. They sat out in the winter weather. Many of the pens were broken. A short time later they turned me over to collection, for not paying my bill. The quality is poor and the billing is even worst.

Disgusting Customer Service

"I ordered 750 pens all in the same colour. Guess what?????? They were a different colour. I rang them to let them know and they said to send them back. I said there is not enough time as I need them for Christmas. They offered me a discount. It has been 2 months and I have been emailing them every week about the small refund. Still to this day nothing. They send me a polite email saying it has to go to their accounts dept. Everytime I contact them them, I get the same response back. Come on people it does not take 2 months to organise a small refund. I will never be dealing with National Pen ever again. Just letting everyone know of my experience with this company... Please shop elsewhere."

Customer service skills: None

"I made our first order for over 500 pens in two different orders. I ordered online and I did check multi colored. When I opened both orders, it's one boring color! I called and they tracked my online order and said I clicked taupe only. I said I did not and I was sure of it... Who would want one color only for giveaways? I asked the rep if they do a courtesy of calling abt online orders for confirmation. He said no, unless customers call. Won't they lose out on that? I know one doesn't have to pay until they receive the order as another rep told me. I wasn't going to pay right away but I needed the expense recorded for November. Someone can put in a bogus order and they would lose out. If they called me to confirm abt my order, then it would be correct and I would be happy and we would be repeat customers... I guess we won't be."
