"I bought 10 Crompton 105 watt halogen bulbs from National Lamps and Components and after 3 failed to last longer than 20 hours instead of the 2ooo claimed I requested to return them. Their response was to say this product was their best seller and they would get back to me. I received days later another 10 bulbs with a note apologising that the first lot had been faulty. One of the bulbs in this new delivery actually had the inner capsule broken through the outer glass envelope it is contained within. I requested to return them all as, short of trying every one to see how long it lasted, I had no confidence in the brand. I have EverReady Halogen bulbs that have been going now for months. Eventually I got most of my money back from the seller but my critic
