"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH "NAS". Zero Stars
On June 23rd, I have purchase from their website a Martin Pantera LH and a standard attached package. Was most visible bow on website until a few days ago. They billed me immediately and did not deliver the merchandise.
Archery Central Winnipeg MB, emitted a bill for $824.03 Canadian (not US) but charge on my VISA: $831.36 US dollars; charge in Canadian $890.21.
They are not reachable by phone, their phone number redirects customer to email addresses, you can press"0" but they do not return phone messages. I have sent multiple emails and they have kept giving me evasive answers about a back order at the supplier. I was informed I could cancel anytime for refund. After 2 months; I verified with Martin archery and the bow was not back order. I have cancelled my order on sept 1st. NAS informed me by email at that point that reimbursement would be by check that I should received via mail within 4-7 days and not a credit back on my CC. The terms and conditions of purchase point 4(f): specified refund would be on credit card. I have immediately protested and requested a reimbursement on my VISA and have received no answer. I have now waited 20 days to get my check. NAS even sent a message specifying not to involve the credit card company immediately since it would complicate reimbursement process. I have sent them several emails and phone messages to remind them of the reimbursement all I get is an automated answer informing me; they are in the process of moving their office. Their Website www.nationalarcherysupply.com just went to in "construction" status. I have contacted VISA, which inform me that they consider that by cancelling the order I cannot file a non delivery claims. VISA also considers that I have accepted another form of reimbursement out of the VISA contract. Unless NAS emit credit note on my VISA, I can not be reimbursed by VISA. I have never accepted refund by check, this deviates from the terms and conditions agreed. But it seems by their process; NAS has effectively circumvented the credit cards rules.
I contacted VISA again and pushed the contract discrepancies and the email claiming I could cancel anytime and the y accepted to contest the bill for me.
With this process, I have search the internet for reviews of this company and there seems to abound in similar stories, they are rated "F" at the Best Business Bureau of Manitoba. Seems the company owner's is Jason Meyers. It is a Winnipeg based company: "National Archery Supply", Archery Central Winnipeg.
At this point I do not believe I will get my money back unless VISA can hold it at the source of payment to this company, which does not seem will happen, or I get help from the BBB.
I should have done my research on this company first.
Lesson learned:
1. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH "NAS"
2. DO NOT CANCEL YOUR ORDER IF YOU HAVE, FILE A NON DELIVERY CLAIM WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY.

"I ordered equipment on February 12, 2010. This is Sept. 23, 2010. I have written many letters requesting my money back. Made sure to cancel the order so it could be returned and went onto the complaint page. All to receive automated mail saing it would be taken care of. No I cannot even get on the site. I have been on the chat page and they said it was sent to accounting. My main question is why would they take money out of your account, when the product was backk ordered and out of stock? Would love to hear from anyone who may know how to address this, and maybe even get my money back. Be careful and order wisely, and maybe not at all."

"I ordered a Carter release from these guys and was extremely impressed. Either I just got a good deal, or these 2 other review are random ones. It seems they have the best prices online of any archery store I have found. I placed the order on a Friday and got it Thursday morning the following week. I'm overall completely happy with the purchase. I will be buying from them again. "

"I ordered a bunch of pins for my scope on my bow on October 27,2009,. The order was taking so long I canceled. On December 16, 2009, I recieved an email saying my refund is in "process" can take from 7-10, or some times 30 days to reflect back on my card, which is a MasterCard Debit From First Midwest Bank. I just started shooting my bow recently and decided to check my bank transactions online to see if there was a refund, and there wasn't. I emailed accounting April 5,7,13 and Info on the 12, of 2010. They havnt responded to those emails. I went to the bank and the banker checked all my transaction and printed them out, also she wrote a letter stating that NAS never did Refund the $155.79 back to my checking account thru my debit card. I faxed NAS the letter the banker wrote on the same day April 17. April 19 I sent another email stating all the facts and my next action is to contact a lawyer. That same day they emailed me saying "We recived a fax from your credit card company last week at First Midwest Bank that the funds are already being reversed. I show it now as refunded. Im not sure what else I can do from our end." First of all the bank didnt send them that letter, I did, and theres nothing in that letter saying "that the funds are already being reversed" My bank has nothing to reverse NAS took my money, all they have to do is put it back. I emailed them again, Saying I went back to the Bank again(APRIL 19), and With the same Banker printed all my statements from Oct to now, and there is no refund, regardless what your system says, and stating I want to talk to a supervisor not waiting On emails day in and day out. I also filed a complaint with the BBB(April 17) about this matter, NAS has til May 4 to respond to the complaint. For more info on NAS and more complaints against them (they are rated f by the bbb) about this HORRIBLE COMPANY go to the Better Bussiness Burea (manitoba in canada) and type in National Archery Supply...it will make your stomach knot up, And dont hesitate to FILE A COMPLAINT... THIS WORTHLESS COMPANY SHOULDNT EVEN BE IN BUSINESS!!

May 5, 2010, I recieved my refund from December,a check from National Archery Supply for 157.21. NAS said that there system showed my refund as refunded, but took my word...I am happy this is over :)

"I warn anyone! Do not Deal with NAS or National Archery supply,

Firstly I was going to buy a bow from China AUD256.00/pc FOB Shenzhenbow

Then I thought it was a little bit too risky, and thought I may aswell buy something that will last and is good quality, problem is I wanted a finger shooter bow, anyway, long story short, after looking at practically every bow available,I went from the cheapest to the most expensive, I searched every online store from anywhere, then I found this store Nas archery supply or National Archery Supply ltd, and they were selling the model I wanted for the best price, so I ordered through paypal, which gave me peice of mind, plus the site is very well done... But what happened to me is something I should have seen through, they are cleverly selling things at bargain prices to lure people, then after you have made an order they will tell you that there is a wait on some commponent or another or that the person dealing with your order and setting the bow up no longer works there so it will be delayed by a few days or many other excuses while saying the items will be sent in a week, or two weeks or whatever, They will reply to emails very proptly until the time limit for a paypal claim has expired and then you can no longer get a response email from them, 4 months I've been trying now.. the way they spoke and replied in emails gave me enough peice of mind to not launch a paypal claim before the due date which I was not warned about because the deal was not though ebay but a private store. when I did contact paypal , they just said ,.. It's not our problem. the time limit for launching a dispute has passed.. So I guess I loose $1000 and pay interest on that because I was stupid enough to think I would have a top quality bow from the USA and that I could trust these guys from the US over the China seller, I am absolutely livid over this experience and I really am hoping for my money back still, I have tried a fair amount already but I'm not through yet, I have emailed, used the refund system on there website, contacted paypal, all to no avail, and emailed only once to avoid there "spam filter", then later in the week tried from another email address asking for answers.. but to no avail. I ordered 5 months ago, and having said that feel a bit stupid/sad/angry ... anyway I hope someone checks them out before ordering like I didn't think to. :( .........#$%^#@!!!
