"I registered with Name Secure over 20 years ago to save my domain name. They changed my password when the company sold to a new owner and I have never been able to reach a customer service agent ever since then!! The fax number the automatic reply gave for document submission to update my password doesn't work, the phone number on the website doesn't work, the fax number on the website doesn't work. Save yourself the headache, never think about using this sketchy company."

They later claimed the domain name had never been unlocked, which is untrue. (I never would have been able to initiate the transfer request with my registrar had it been locked.) I'm recommending my client choose an alternate domain name, registered with another company, and abandon her old one rather than continue dealing with this company."
