"I bought a Kodak LS443 form My Digital Palace in 2004. I also purchased a 5 year warranty. Now the camera does not work and I am unable to contact them. What do I do??? Am I just screwed???

"I would not recommend ordering from this company. It was difficult to contact them on the phone. Their customer service was very unprofessional. I never received the merchandise and was not able to get any someone to speak with me on the phone. I finally had to contact my credit card company and file a dispute.
Please save yourself from the stress and headache. This was by far the worst online purchase I have ever made.

"Bad Experience!! These guys followed the script as explained in the other reviews. I got hooked by the lowest price ($399 each for a pair of Canon S70s), which was advertised as "In-Stock", got contacted for "extras" including a big push for extended warranty, was advised that the order would be delivered as per my time requirements (Xmas), and then received a "back order" status by email along with an opportunity to cancel. I cancelled and ordered from Beach Camera ($4 more per camera) and that worked out perfectly (see my review)."

"Everything was going fine, email to call to confirm, called Jeff customer service 1-***-***-**** ext 227. Item available will be shipped 1-2 days you will have by Friday 12 Nov. 9 Nov email that they will not have for 10-12 more days. Do not buy from a reseller. Not worth the pain. "

"Just to confirm everything everyone else has said about this company. I was told the camera I ordered was in stock (at a price I should have known was too good to be true!) and would be shipped out the same day, if possible. Two days later I receive an email stating the camera is not in stock and it would be at least 10-15 business days later before it may be available for shipping. I was supposed to contacted again to reorder the camera and told not to call customer service because they could not answer any questions about pending orders. I also had to upsell conversation with the associate. I found this website and cancelled my order before I got in too deep. Thanks everyone!"

"I will not do business with this company again. I wish I had known about reselleratings.com before I oredered my equipment.

I ordered a Sony digital camera, memory stick and memory stick reader. The camera they sent was a European model (no US warranty). They tried to tell me it was impossible, but I finally convinced them. I returned the camera per their instructions. They told me they received the camera, but didn't send out the replacement for a week (they lied to me several times when they said it was sent out the next day). The replacement camera arrived a month after I originally placed the order. Then the memory sick reader failed to work. I sent it back and am still waiting for a credit to my account even though they told me they had processed the paperwork a week ago. I think they lied again!

"This is the worst company I have ever dealt with over the internet. The item ordered was not delivered, instead of a new camera I was sent a refurbished camera of lesser value. The camera was returned and the replacement camera is also refurbished. I was lied to by customer service repeatedly and never received adequate service from their "customer service". I would never, EVER deal with this company again. (In addition to the fact that they are located in Brooklyn, NY and charge 22.OO shipping This is a dishonest, deceitful company."

"I sure wish I had known about reseller ratings.com before trying to buy my Fuji S7000 from this totally disreputable outfit.

I made my purchase on line with assurances that it was in stock. Was called immediately by "James" who wanted to verify everything. B.S. He wanted to try and sell me every option known to exist at highly inflated prices.

When I refused repeatedly, he finally gave up. 8 days later with no shipping info, I called back and was told the item was no longer in stock. I rechecked their web page and it was supposedly still in stock. I called back from another phone and asked if was in stock at their extremely attractive web site and was assured that it was.

This gang of crooks gives internet purchasing a bad reputation and should be shut down. I am reporting them them the NY BBB although I doubt whether this will have any effect after reading some of the other negative reviews of this outfit.

You are warned.

"I tried to purchase an Olympus C-740 digital camera from this company. I generally read the reviews about companies before I order, but I was in a hurry to get this ordered before my wife found out as this was a birthday present for her. After I filled in all of my information on their web form, I was ready to click on the Submit button as I noticed that there was not an SSL connection and by mistake had clicked on the submit button. This really concerned me and then I received an email from ****@**** telling me to call in to confirm my order. Once on the phone, they tried to sell me tons of extra stuff for the camera (bait and switch tactic) and after I told them I only wanted the camera, they told me it would be a longer wait time unless I ordered accessories. I told them to cancel my order and they said they would not do so. Then they asked why I wanted to cancel and I explained to them about the non-existance of the SSL certificate and the man called me an f**king liar and that they have the "Hacker Proof" logo on their website, which is totally 100% untrue. I told him to cancel my order to which he responded this is not a game, I am going to run your credit card immediately and f**k you. Then threatened me by saying they would turn me over to collections and then to their attorney and said f**k you again then hung up on me.
Each time I tried to call back, I either got hung up on or left on hold for over 30 minutes. I ended up ordering from a reputable company and everything went very well and the camera was received when they said it would be delivered. I ended up having to cancel/deactivate my card in order to keep this company from trying to run through a transaction. This company is a scam and needs to be shut down by the authorities. It is very sad that this is allowed to go on.

"I am extremely dissatisfied with this company. Their customer service department is terrible and I believe that I have been ripped off. Besides they convinced me that I neede an additional battery which is nothing but a bunch of hogwash and to make matters worse, the battery did not fit and I almost ruined my camera trying to remove it. Why didn't I contact them about it? I did but I am sick and tired of sitting on hold for hours on end. Sto this travesty NOW!!!

"Ordered Optura 20 which was said to be in stock. After three weeks, with no contact, called store. Camera was to be delivered in 3 days. 5 days later contacted store again. Order cancelled - no longer stocked. Was lied to three times 1)not in stock 2)delivery available date false 3)delivery date false. No contact informing me of status throughout 3 weeks of wait. No apology even offered."

Merchant did not send me tracking number. Called 5 tiles between 03/03/2004 and 03/10/2004.
Merchant told camera was shipped on 03/03/2004.
The merchant had charged my credit card on 03/03/2004.

On 03/12/2004 merchant told the camera was out of stock and NEVER shipped.
So they lied to me and charged my credit card.
