"Order instock book on 12/10/06. Credit card charged on 12/12/06. Web site stated the order shipped, but no tracking number. Placed several phone call and email that were ignored. They responded on 12/18/06 to say the order could not ship and refund would be issued in 2 days. Refund never received. Web site still states item shipped. I will have to dispute the charge. Never buy from Movieswithasmile or movies with a smile (whatever their name is)."

I placed an order for 1 book on 12/12/2006 (as a christmas present).
Here is what has happened so far:
1. No tracking # was ever issued for my order, so I don't know if it ever shipped.
2. I tried e-mailing this seller several times to get the status of my order. NO ONE EVER RESPONDED.
3. I tried calling the phone# on their website for some assistance, and I get a pre-recorded message saying that this mailbox is full.
So, I'm left to just wait around and hope that my order will someday ship. (Hopefully in time for Christmas).
I REPEAT: NEVER BUY FROM THIS SELLER UNLESS YOU WANT TO GAMBLE WITH YOUR MONEY.

"I purchased a DVD from this store on 11/11/06 based on their website listing it as 'in stock'. I received a shipment confirmation email 2 days later stating that I should receive the item 'shortly'. My order status on their website now says that the DVD is 'backordered'. No responses to phone messages. No responses to emails. Still haven't received item, and my credit card has been charged. Avoid this company at all costs. OH, BTW, their website still lists the DVD as being 'in stock'...

UPDATE 11/25/06: disputed the charge with my credit card company since no replies from Movieswithasmile.com. About 30 minutes later, I get an email from the company saying they weren't able to fill the order and were issuing a refund. About 30 minutes after THAT email, I receive another (a reply to my FIRST email) that said the item wasn't in stock when I ordered it, but they re-ordered it and should have it in stock within 5 business days, and would expedite shipping! 2 days later, my credit card was refunded. Now my status on their website shows 'Item Shipped'!! Still no response to a couple dozen of my emails as to whether they actually shipped the item..."

"I ordered the Wrestlemania Anthology Box Set from Movies with a Smile on 11/26.I only got Vol. 4.I emailed the company (there’s no published phone #) & was told to send the item back & they’d send the correct.I sent the package Express Mail so it could be tracked & insured.I emailed them after it was returned to get the ship & delivery dates of the original item & got no response.It wasn’t until my 3rd email that they responded & said they hadn’t received it, but would process a refund. I emailed them to say I wasn’t looking for a refund, but for the original item & sent the tracking # of the package.Again no response.I emailed a 2nd time & was told a refund was processed on 12/18. I emailed them back to find out why they refuse to ship me the original item which is still in stock on the website.They haven’t responded & I doubt they will.I’m out the shipping costs here & back & haven’t seen a refund of the original charge.My special needs son have a disappointing Christmas. "Ordered one DVD movie at a low price. Arrived in good condition.

It was shipped in a non-padded white envelop with no packaging slip/receipt. Instead the movie title is printed outside of the envelop on the upper left hand side. No shipping confirmation is e-mailed to you. You have to manually check their site for it.

Despite these cons, movieswithasmile.com has some well priced movies and acceptable shipping times. I would do business with them again."
