"I have been waiting for two weeks to receive a ceiling mount that I ordered. The only thing I got from the company was an email receipt and a notation that the order was placed as a regular ground shipment. There was no tracking information in that only communication from them. And there was no confirmation that they even shipped it. After a week, I sent an email to their customer service department, asking if it has been shipped yet, and also requested tracking information. A week has gone by and they have not responded to my email. Simply ignoring me. Although it will be time consuming, I now have to contact Paypal and see if I can get a reversal of charges. I am left hanging on a room theater remodel since I have no way to mount my projector and I am a bit reluctant to order from Amazon, for fear that, out of the blue this ceiling mount would show up, leaving me with an extra one that I can't use. Don't order from a company that does not care. Far more choices out there. "
"I bought a rite mount PMS series. The item was pure garbage. It was flimsy, did not fit, and pieces were missing from the box. If you want your projector to stay on the ceiling, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Their customer service is terrible, they do not stand by their product, do not answer emails. I am surprised they are even in business."

Their product quelity was really really bad! I have to say that you can't possible get anything worse than this! and after i returned it! they took almost $12 off from the purchasing price! I located a really good price on one of the Swing Arm wall mounts for my HDTV -- I was hoping to pay around $100, give or take, and I was finding mounts in the 200-350 price range with other well-known dealers and discounters. My $80 purchase arrived by UPS ground only 2 days after the order. Direct Mount provided great online confirmation, assurance while waiting for delivery, and shipment tracking. The swing arm is actually more than I expected. It's heavy duty, has a multitude of adjustments that allows me to position the TV in any position -- I can swing it 180 degrees to view from my living room or adjoining sunroom and quickly reset the horizontal alignment which I noticed was a shortcoming in reviews I read with other similar mounts. I tried making a ceiling mount out of PVC pipe and shower drains but was not able to get enough precision. I went online and found this website ( mountdirect.com ). They seemed to offer what I needed which was a ceiling mount with extension and the ability to swivel and lock. Price was cheap ($50). I ordered it on a Saturday morning and it arrived on Monday. Completely blew me away! Materials are extremely high quality as well. The metal is white with a nice clear coating. The screws and bolts are all black anodized. This ceiling mount is perfect for my Optoma HD70. Installation was a breeze. The hardest part was finding a way to protect my eyes from the drywall as I drilled into it. Highly recommended!!

"After doing some shopping for a projector ceiling mount, I found Mount Direct. They offered a decent product at a good price ($45 plus $11 ground shipping). I ordered on 3-6 and received an immediate e-mail confirmation. The mount was shipped on 3-7 again with an immediate e-mail notification with a link to tracking information.
The mount was received on 3-12 and was very easy to install. All needed parts were there for several different mounting options and the instructions were very clear.
