"Total joke. Needed motherboatrd quickly and ordered from this lot paying an extra £10 for "express" process and £10.88 for "express handling/shipping". Item still took 2 days and postage was £7.55 Royal Mail 1st class recorded - a STANDARD service offering. I placed an order for a hard to find item (OCZ520ADJ-EU) and as I stated above, it sat "in progress for 3 days. I decided to call to see what the hold up was. It rang for about 8 rings (that's long to me), and the individual that answered put me on hold right after my simple question. She came back and simply stated "one week". I asked, "one week total, or one week more?". She replied, "one week". Thanks, but no thanks. I cancelled that order too.

If it says "In stock", then it should be in their store or warehouse. Obviously, this isn't the case at Microstorm.

Same problem from two very simular places. Ironic? I don't believe in coincidence...AVOID."

I ordered 10 parts for my server that day. I requested Airborne Ground from Microstorm. They shipped it FedEx Ground at the slowest possible delivery. Just checked the order and it says it's been shipped with Airborne Express. The funny thing though is that the shipper is reported as computer hq. I checked the address of computer hq and microstorm and they are the same address. Looking at reseller ratings of computer hq makes me a little nervous because their average is 5 with many very dissatisfied customers. I didn't know that microstorm is related to that other company. Hopefully everything goes well with my order.

I just got my package today containing the Sony DVD burner (DRU-500a) in awesome condition!! The order was well packaged and I must admit that Microstorm has well earned my approval. I will definitely do business with them again. Even though they ship from Computer HQ (this is the shipping company listed on the Airborne package tracking page), they seem to offer much better quality and they do deserve the 10.00 rating. Job well done!"
