Totally disappointed!

"I ordered the l "Does not advance" kit - $32.02 through Amazon. Following the detailed instructions plus an on line video - as I neared the end of the repair, I had a technical question. Called the company - learned that it would cost an additional $35.00 for a 20 minute follow up phone assist. When I insisted, was connected to a guy, unidentified, who said, "My time is valuable" and basically was rude, unhelpful, and finally just hung up on me. Another example of a scam operation only out to milk unwary consumers. They really don't want to help - just want the $$$. Let the buyer beware!!!"

"I contacted both Amazon and Microtools about a purchase and exchange on a 20 LED bulb lamp to the 30 LED lamp bulb. As I feared when I received the item, there was not nearly enough light. I requested the different item before this item was ever shipped. The seller would not cooperate. The seller will not do an exchange and the item cost almost as much to return as the item cost. What a rip-off and piece of junk. Got a "36" LED Lamp Light from Walmart for a LITTLE LOWER COST & IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM. Shame on you and your company."

"I sent in a film projector to be repaired. They stated that it would take 4-6 weeks to perform the repair. I sent them my projector at the beginning for October 2014. It is now the middle of January 2014. Still no projector, and they still haven't even STARTED the repair as it is "in the queue behind other projectors to be repaired"!
I have called about every two weeks since the 6 weeks up. They constantly are saying 2 more weeks maybe. They refuse to guarantee any date to even start the repair. I would never use them again.

"This company has burned us more than three times. The latest was an order for a Leather, Morocco Grain Black 2 Sq Feet. What a joke. This order was a waist of time and money.

"I purchased a set of secure Torx and Hex bits. The set was no longer made by its manufacturer Wiha Tools, but through a Google search I found that Micro-Tools.com was one of the few vendors that sold the set I was looking for. I saw the good reviews on this website and thought I'd call to ensure they still had the set in stock. A nice lady picked up the phone and actually went into inventory to confirm it for me. She said, "I'm holding the last one in my hand." I said, "I'll order it online now!" I ordered it on a Tuesday, and it was delivered on Friday. Thanks, Micro-Tools! Happy customer here."

"Although everyone else seems to have had only positive comments about this company, my story differs greatly. I placed my order on November 2nd, and waited 16 days for an order that was supposed to arrive in 8-10. I didn't receive any email, tracking number etc. They did however remember to charge my credit card (funny how that works). When I called to check they said an item was back-ordered and they had meant to ship the rest out, would do so that day, also that I would receive an email with the tracking information. Two days later still no tracking email. I emailed them to check and they said my order had shipped without the drill. Today, I called to check on my order, and they told me that NOTHING had shipped but they could send me the DRILL! I couldn't believe it, do you think the guy just lied when he said my order had shipped?! I spoke with hm on the phone and via email. I have the email saved on my computer. The rest was now back-ordered!!! I asked why no one ever contacted me about any of this (a simple email, please!) and the guy told me that they did not have time to contact customers, with the amount of orders they have! I do not recommend this company at all. I asked for a refund, let's see how long that takes.. I have never taken the time to review a company online before, but felt that someone should spread the word about this company. 0 stars.
December 28th: Update, instead of sending my refund as promised, the company sent one piece of my order. I have called countless times, and every time, it's like starting from square one, and I have to explain the situation all over again only to get no results. I have now filed a dispute with my credit card company as well. What bothers me the most is not only that they messed up my order, but the way the handled it. I placed an order with another company before Christmas, and then found out my item was out of stock (after my order was confirmed), when I emailed the company, they were so nice and apologetic, and offered me a $5.00 off coupon if I decided to shop there in the future (which I surely will). Anyone can make a mistake, but when a company makes a series of mistakes and refuses to be held accountable for any of them; that to me is unacceptable.

"I needed a small screwdriver to open up a clie pda to install a battery in. The tool I purchased was exactly what I needed and was a premium brand and since I live in the same state shipped very quickly.

My only gripe is they charge the same flat rate for all items either it be small or big which is 6.95.

"Ordered 10 Batteries on 7/13.
They were shipped same day and delivered next day (7/14). Product price was very competitive as was shipping (Weight 2 lbs $6.95 via priority mail and including insurance. Definitely recommend Micro-Tools
and willuse again as needed.

"I ordered lens and sensor cleaning supplies for my DSLRs. Micro-Tools.com offers a wide range of such products and they explain the pros and cons of the various approaches to cleaning digital cameras. I got exactly what I needed. The order was shipped promptly, although it took a week to arrive because UPS ground coast to coast is not super fast. Still, the package arrived on schedule and I was certainly happy to be able to put the products to use. Thanks to this store for the detailed and outstanding info it puts on line. It should be supported with our purchases."

"I purchased a D80 sensor cleaning kit from Micro-Tools recently. The kit arrived on the scheduled date, well packed with all the contents. I cleaned my sensor (following the instructions sheet) with the kit (wet cleaning) and was amazed as to how well it worked. My sensor is sparkling clean with not a spec of dust. The PecPads were great and I guess with this kit I can clean my sensor for at least a year or more.
Only the shipping cost was a bit too much otherwise things were great.
This company is highly recommended for DSLR sensor cleaning stuff. Web site was very easy to navigate and ordering was simple and easy.

"Great packaging, but shipping with UPS ground was a little pricey vs USPS pricing. And it took 1 week to arrive. Otherwise, it's all good.

They even included a pack of candy in the box :-p

"I ordered one of the sensor cleaning kit. They had so many to choose from and it was organized in such a manner that i was able to just select the kit for my camera. The order was filled the same day, came much quicker than I expected, was complete, and as a added bonus, there was a little bag of various candies. Stupid little perk I know, but I was hankering for a tootsie roll and there it was. Anyway, I recommend this vendor."
