"Typical bait and switch. I just got their catalog in the mail TODAY and they had an item I wanted I checked the web site and it was priced higher. So I called and its is at the higher price. Would not give me the advertised price. THEN wanted $12 shipping on a $13 product. "

"Tried to order a Sony laptop from Warehouse.com. The laptop, a "discontinued" model, was listed at $259 for over four days.

Three days after purchase, my order was cancelled with no contact from the company. Subsequent e-mails replying to myself and to my father, who also ordered one, blamed three different "problems":

1: Discontinued model (However, it is STILL listed on their website for order)
2: Backordered (Said they'd fill order ASAP, then cancelled the order anyway, with no contact)
3: Pricing error/typo (for FOUR days?)

No effort has been made at compensation. No effort had been made in contacting me. E-mail responses are terse and short, with no attempt or aim at customer satisfaction whatsoever. Each e-mail basically says they may not be able to fill orders. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the point of selling items on the web?

Very, very poor business. Stay away.

"I ordered a 1GB memory upgrade for my Mac G5. On the website it said "usually ships in 24 hours" next to the product, so I ordered it with overnight shipping. 2 days later it was changed to back-ordered with no notification to me. After logging into the web site I figured it out. After a week of being back-ordered I called to get a status. They told me that due to the merger with CDW, the product I ordered had been discontinued, but CDW offered a similar upgrade for $50 more. I feel like I should alert the Better Business Bureau because that was a blatant "bait & switch" tactic. I won't order anything else from these guys in my lifetime....scumbags... "

"I ordered an extended warranty for a previous IBM computer purchase (that was shipped after 10 wrong returned proposals and the acct rep never understanding what I wanted) that has shipped twice as a wrong product. Had to cancel it in the end.

All in all, there prices are OK but you can't rely on these folks.

"Dont trust these guys. I have been getting emails from this place with specials all the time. The first time i take them up on one of these reduced price items they cancel my order with no notice or reason. I found out by chance when i checked my order 2 days later. I call them and they more or less say to bad. BUT i coupld now by this at double the price! Bait and switch, humm? "

"Beware of this company! Ordered and confirmed pricing on a lens and then two days later the company cancelled the order stating that the product had been put into their system at the wrong price. As a computer professional I deal with many distributors and online vendors and these guys are real losers -- will never purchase from them again! Please think twice before placing YOUR order, seems they can change the terms of a sale at any time."

"Very Bad Experience ... Watch out for this company

Ordered a Canon lense on April 4, and confirmed price with sales person and received invoice. Got Call today April 7th, saying they would not honor price, and canceled my order inspite of my having already been sent invoice.

Would not order from them again as appear dishonest and unreliable

"Ordered a Canon 28-135IS lens at a price of $249.95 that seemed too good to be true. It was, they canceled my order today. They first told me it was because they weren't carrying the product anymore. When I pointed out they had the exact same item available at $499.95 under a different SKU, they changed their tune and said it was a pricing error and they were covered in cancelling by a disclaimer in their Terms & Conditions.

Then to add insult to injury, the Cust. Svc. supervisor I was talking too then offered to sell me the lens at their "cost" of $409. When I pointed out I could buy the same lens *retail* at bhphoto.com for less than that she had nothing to say.

"Bait & Switch" and just call it a "pricing error". I'll order elsewhere in the future.

"Just a terrible experience. I received a laptop that was not working properly. It shuts down unexpectantly. I called Microwarehouse for help. They told me I had to work with Compaq first. After working 3 weeks with Compaq, including a new motherboard the problem still exists. I asked Microwarehouse for an exchange and was rudely refused. I have contacted my credit card company and will work with them to get this problem taken care of. Avoid them at all costs.

"The worst online purchase experience in my past 3 years. I ordered a laptop but when I received it, it already has a crack. Then I asked a exchange. The product was in stock when I requested the exchange. But they did not like to ship to me a replaced one until they got the returned one.
When they got the returned one, the laptop was out of stock. They cancelled my order without returning my money back to credit card. I found this after I called them several days later. They promised me they would refund my money. However, I checked my credit card and found they did NOT refund my money back.
Then I called them 3 times to ask them to return my money back. Finally they sadi they would return my money back. But they just did not want to retrun the shipping fee.
That means I spent the shipping fee and got NOTHING.
I will NEVER buy any stuff from them again!
