"I had placed an order for some DDR SDRAM for my apple. I ordered 1 gig and it was received shortly after. The memory wasn't packaged very well, but I put it in.

The memory didn't work right, it kept locking up my machine for a day and then, the day or two following caused a repetitive kernel panic to where my machine wouldn't even boot - this never happened to me before on OS X. So, I remove the memory, and all is fine again. Machine runs as properly as it did before.

I requested an RMA and was given this message on Feb 4:

Please send them back with RMA number XXXX on the return package, and include a copy of the original invoice. Please note that there is restocking fee for return for refund product. RETURNS FOR REFUND WITHIN 14-DAYS OF INVOICE DATE OF YOUR PRODUCT. ALL REFUNDS, UNLESS DEFECTED, ARE SUBJECT TO A 15% RESTOCKING FEE.

The all caps bit was also underlined.

So I sent it out, that day with priority mail.

Today, Feb 9, I received a full refund credited back to my credit card.

All and all I'm only out return shipping of $5 and some odd change."

"I am somewhat concerned with the recent negative feedbacks given to MS4Me , but I have ordered from them a couple times before with good luck, and this time was no different. During checkout there is a series of dropdowns that allows you to enter the exact type of computer you are buying the RAM for to "ensure compatibility". The first couple times I did this I suspected it was only used so they could later call you and try to get you to buy more expensive ram i.e. bait and switch. This could not be further from the truth. On this purchase the DIMMs I recieved were the exact same brand of chips that are in the Dell PC I was buying this for. I could'nt believe it. Shipping is fast and free, although you take some risk since it is merely snail mailed in a bubble wrap package, but anyone who has bought RAM from the cheap places, knows that this is standard practice. I have yet to recieve a broken DIMM when recieving them in this fashion, so I guess it is sufficient. Just ordered from them again last night, and will be shopping there often. "

"I ordered an Infineon PC2700 DIMM advertised on pricewatch as a Christmas gift to upgrade my son's computer. They sent me a Samsung PC2100 (lower speed) DIMM instead even though the packing slip says otherwise. When I called them, they said they were out of stock on the Infineon -but their website even today lists everything as being in stock. It also bothered me that the person I spoke to insisted that they were equivalent parts even though the speed code was different. I thought it was a simple mistake till I saw another reviewer talk about a very similar experience which he/she called a 'bait-and-switch'. Now I feel that I may have been a victim of this tactic also. too bad - because I dont like giving poor ratings to the small stores which use pricewatch."

"For the lowly 26 bucks I spent on this 256 pc2100 266mhz laptop ram, it arrived undamaged and within 3 days from the same coast. No service or compatability issues, so I would have to say it was a great deal, even though I was skeptical, (like with all dealers having cheaper-than-dirt pricing), everything went well. "

Shipping was completely random. Valid tracking number not given, and even to this day, the status of the fake shipping shows "shipping"

"Although the product (512mb PC3200 generic ram) arrived in good condition and appears to be working fine this company lacks professionalism as outlined below:
- RAM was shipped in a static guard bag in a padded envelope and could have been easily damaged in transit.
- Order confirmation email lists the return address as "****@****" which is not a working address nor is there a website at www.emesol.com at the time of this writting.
- Policy of no tracking numbers for USPS.
- Even though I wasn't supposed to I got a tracking number for my shipment. But it was sent to me from stamps.com and said it was from "Mesol Corp" and I had no idea what it was. (as I side note I did a lot of research and called what I believe to be the proprieter's home number but the guy I talked to appeared to be feingting ignorance as he denied any connection to Mesol Corp but adimantly wanting to know why I was calling and it wasn't until later that I made the connection between "Mesol Corp" and the return address on my order confirmation.)

This company needs to decide what it's name and web addresses really are and and make them consistant and working for all customer corrospondence. Also, they need to send tracking numbers for all shipments (even if they have to pay the extra ~$0.25 for USPS tracking) and package products better. From my experience they are a perfectly honest dealer consistant with their ratings, but their lack of professionalism makes me feel that I got lucky that my product arrived in a timely and working fasion. I probably won't order from them again.

"The company was extremely good to work with. I ordered 4 sticks of PC3200 DDR RAM with 4 aluminum heat spreaders. I ordered them on a Thursday evening and I received them the following Monday. Price was great, the product worked perfectly, it was packaged decently for shipping. I'd definately use them again. My only complaint is a fairly minor one. Other than the initial order confirmation email they sent, they didn't communicate anything else about the product. The product was shipped FREE via First Class US Postal Service (however, you can pay extra for Fed Ex) and I understand that they cannot provide a tracking number. "Great Company. Truly deserves a full 10 out of 10. I ordered a MICRON 256MB (32X8) 8C PC 2100 266Mhz DDR 200 PIN SODIMM stick of RAM for my laptop. I got an email telling me the item has shipped the next day. Item arrived about 2 or 3 days after it was ordered. I installed the memory and it works like a charm. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, the memory came with a 3 (yes THREE) year in-store warranty at NO additional charge. Other companies usually charge horrific amounts for a warranty that's more than 1 yr. This one comes with a 3 year rigt off the bat. NO price savings could justufy you shopping for memory elsewhere!

The memory was priced VERY resonably (at $40 shipped). This is also not generic memory. Its Micron, so I knew I was getting some top-notch quality memory.
