Excellent Customer Service

"Cristin was the absolute best! Quick response and very informative. Resolved the issue fast. I received a autographed bat that the actual bat had a few scuffs. I brought to her attention and she quickly had a replacement sent that was perfect. Excellent customer service and I will definitely buy from here again. "

These people are a joke

"This company is a joke. I purchased a jersey on 5/16 that was “in stock” and ready for delivery. I paid for expedited shipping to make SURE I’d have it by 5/19, as I had tickets to a game on 5/20 and wanted to wear it. It’s 5/19 at 11pm, and it hasn’t even SHIPPED. I spoke to TWO customer service morons who were SURE it would arrive on time until tonight when the chat mongoloid confessed my size was out of stock and it wouldn’t be fulfilled until well after I needed it. I bought in good faith from a site that should have REAL TIME inventory info when it says “available”. I paid almost $30 for next day shipping. These people should not be allowed to sell anything to anyone, EVER. Do NOT waste your money buying from these clowns. They don’t have the intelligence or capability to serve a circus shoveling elephant ****t, much less running an eCommerce business. Send these mental midgets into bankruptcy. Save your money."

Worst Experience Ever

"I ordered the METS tabletop air hockey game for my nephew’s 7th birthday at the end of August. I got an email saying shipping is delayed so I was bummed it wouldn’t get there in time (birthday was 8/24), but OK. SEVEN WEEKS later and NO updates I searched their site for a customer service number. (Good luck with that. ) When I finally got someone, obviously in India, after suffering through a horrible automated system, they told me the game was shipped 12 days ago and has been sitting for 9 days at a PHARMACY in Ho Ho Kus NJ for pick up. !!!! WHAT?!!!
Who does that?!! Now the recipient has to go there to pick it up. Why wasn’t it delivered?! (They blamed UPS.) Why didn’t you tell me?! Had I not called them, I guess it would never have been received. Customer service issued a “30% off your next order” coupon. That’s outrageous. Do they really think I would EVER order from them again? Stay away!!!!!!

Embarrassing - Felt like I was scammed

"Bought 2 tickets each for over $100 for a Baltimore home game. Successfully purchased tickets via mlb.com. My PayPal account was charged for the transaction the next day. I received email confirmation that all was good. We Travelled to the Baltimore. On game day, I went to load the tickets in my MLB App and was unsuccessful. App kept giving me an error message that something went wrong with accepting your ticket. Try again or contact customer support. The email confirmations had no info on how to contact customer support. Luckily, PayPal did. I spent over 2 hours with an offshore call center and they were unable to resolve the issue, something about having the seller re-issue me the tickets that I already paid for.

Then lots of time on hold and the agent claiming it’s a third party service and there isn’t anything to do but contact the seller. We’ll by the first pitch, the seller still didn’t get back to me. Agent suggested that I purchase tickets if I want to see the game and they’d open a case to investigate. SCAM.

I’ve disputed the claim w PayPal and the cc I use with my PayPal account.

But even if I get the money back, this still ruined a special weekend w my daughter. Instead of going in early and taking in the beauty of Camden Yards, we didn’t get to our seats until the 2nd inning. We didn’t get to sit in the box seats I had bought a month ago - we were in the outfield bleachers.

All in, very shady. I’ll never do it again. Shame on the MLB and shame on Ticket Fulfillment services - the shady 3rd party they used for this transaction.

SCAM AND JUNK

"Horrible streaming service. Cancled same day when I installed free trial because even the agent couldnt fix what I was doing. Found out 7 days later they charged me $140!!!! Now its jumping through loops trying to request it back because I'd get an email saying it was denied so then I called and they "escalated " the issue which meant a call back within 24-48 hours. Nothing. 2 weeks now into now . JUNK."

Stay Clear of this Site

"Nothing but problems with this company. Shipping takes well over 2 weeks. I tried to cancel an order that was 5 days away from being shipped, but they said no. Returns are a hassle. Customer service is rude. Good luck if you shop here. "

Best Customer Service Ever

"Cristin @ MLBShop was by far the best Customer Service Representative I have ever dealt with. Her patience, thorough understanding of the subject matter and dedication to providing outstanding customer service was the best I have ever encountered. She was 100% solutions driven and super responsive.

She truly embodied the importance of what post-sale service is supposed to be.

Because of her my wife and I will be MLBShop customers for life.

Your shipping address my change!

"Beware! Luckily I noticed after placing my order that the shipping address had changed from the one I typed in. MLB shop has a Glitch in there system! If you pay with Apple Pay/goggle pay the shipping address automatically changes to the payee's. Their customer service Rep. Informed me of this when called them about my order address change. I first noticed the issue in my email order review notice, they don't tell of the issue."

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

"I ordered an $80 boston redsox sweatshirt. It was never delivered. I have things delivered often with no issue. I called after not receiving the item, I was assured by someone in INDIA that the item would be delivered and to wait until a certain day, and if it was not delivered by a certain day, to call back and the item would he re-sent. After not recieving the item again, I called back. I was then told the item could not be re-sent and to go f myself. Never buying from MLB SHOP ever again. Horrible experience. BEWARE."

Horrible Customer Experience

"I ordered an item and paid for 3-7 shipping, the site did say it would not be received by 12/24, which a day or two late was fine. Only after submitting my order and payment information did I receive a page and email stating the order would not ship until 1/7 and would not be received until 1/16. Tried to call and sat on hold for 20 minutes before hanging up. Called back next day and the rep told me because it is a drop ship item there was nothing he could do and the customer only has a 30 minute buyers remorse period to cancel. Escalated to a supervisor "Evett" based out of Dallas, Texas who was extremely rude, obviously was having a bad day and spent more time trying to talk over me and educate me about what I didn't know than trying to help me cancel the order. She insisted on us waiting for the item to arrive in January to return it, insteadof cancelling it. After her lecture and condescending attitude she said she'd have to submit a ticket to the manufacturer to cancel it and I should receive an email in 2-3 business days. In no way should this supervisor be in her role, her customer service skills are a joke and this is one of the worst customer experiences I've had with such a well known brand such as the MLB. The rep on the other hand, was overly apologetic and did everything he could, but the service center needs to consider serious retraining or restructuring of it's supervisors and put an emphasis on quality customer service. As someone who runs a call center, I would not entertain that kind of attitude representing my employers brand on any level!"
