"Horrible customer service - AVOID like the plague.

I ordered a set of hybrid control arms on 10/19 (early Monday morning) via their website. My card was charged immediately. I paid extra for their fast processing so I could get them by 10/23 (Friday). I am in Oklahoma, they are in Texas, this seems very reasonable.

I did not get a call back or anything telling me my order would be delayed. I called on Friday to see where the parts were - phone went unanswered. I called 10/26 (Monday) and finally got someone on the phone. They says the parts to put in it were finally in - and it would be shipped out that night and that they would remove the fast processing charge (they better).

On 10/27 I called back to make sure it went out - and they thought I ordered a muffler. They then said they may have sent me the wrong order (I guess two orders from Oklahoma at the same time is too confusing for them), and said they would call back - and didn't.

As of 11/2 their site still shows pending on the order. I just called and talked to someone else who said - oh yeah, that's going out today. I will call you back with a tracking number and then hung up on me before I could ask what happened last week when I was told this!

They are liars. Buy elsewhere.

"I've been dealing with MJM since they first opened and continue to come back. It's nice to know I can deal directly with the owner even and he makes sure I'm taken care of, not just before the sale but afterward as well. It used to be I would use MJM for my VW parts needs but now I own a Mini and MJM was able to set me up with an intake from NM Engineering which has nicely improved the sound and performance of the car. A good quality part too. Install was simple and fit and finish were excellent. I'll definitely be dealing with MJM when it's time for the next mod."

"Wow what lousy customer service. I ordered a clutch kit on June 11. I did not get a tracking number so called 1 week later and told the kit was shipping that day and I would see it by end of week. I stated that I had an appointment on June 30 for the clutch kit to be installed by my mechanic. The week of June 23 still no clutch kit. I asked for a tracking number and no response, finally reached them by phone on Wednesday and was told the pressure plate for the kit was bad and a new one was on the way. I had to cancel the order, call another vendor and pay $80 for next day delivery to make sure the parts will be in the hands of the installer.

Do not order from this company.

"I attempted to order auto parts from this business. After a week I received an email stating that they were in transit to me. I was also verbally assured by an employee that they would ship on March 10th via 2 or 3-day shipping. When they didn't arrive at this time I attempted multiple times to contact the business via phone (never answered), voicemail (never returned), and emails (also never returned). No tracking info was ever provided, and the only email I ever received said that the order was "in transit to me", but then also "either being shipped, or an order has been placed with the manufacturer to provide the item to you". It then helpfully asked me to be patient as they attended to my order. This appears to be their MO, they take your money on day one, and then never ship the parts and never return any communications. I am disputing the charges with my credit card company. Unbelievable.

Read the BBB complaints on this horrible outfit as well. Avoid!

"I placed an order just after Christmas for some performance brake pads for my car. I received an email on Dec 27th saying that my order had shipped.

On January 10th I tried to check my order online, and no information was available. I called MJM and selected option 2 for tracking my order. The automated system did not have any information. I tried various extensions to talk to a live person and was unsuccessful.

I sent an email to MJM saying that I was trying to find out about my order and I could not get anyone to answer the phone. I got a quick response asking what extension I had tried. I responded with the various extensions. Two days passed and no further communication came from MJM.

I sent another email asking to cancel my order since they were more interested in what extensions I called rather than the status of my order. The next day I received a response.

The email I received was DRIPPING WITH SARCASM and basically BLAMING ME for calling the wrong extension to get the information.

Here is the email:

"Hi,

Unfortunately, your order (like notification to you on the 27th was sent) has already shipped and cannot be 'canceled', per se. If you need to return them, and do so within 14 days, that is certainly possible. Simply contact us for shipping instructions back to us if you do not need them. Sorry to hear that you feel like our 'service' isn't up to par based on your inability to get in touch with us via the telephone (a channel of communication we use each and every day without any troubles from any other customers who simply dial "3" for our sales department).

I called to complain about the email and I spoke with the Customer Service Manager who took my name and number and told that the author's manager would call me to discuss.

TWO DAYS LATER, I called again because I had not heard from anyone.

This company obviously does not care about customer service. My recommendation is stay away...buy from another company that does what they say, not one who will give low prices and a big headache!
