A bad experience with a flawed product

"Dec 2021 I purchased a brand new Longines automatic watch.
March 2023, part of the time/date adjustment knob simply fell off. This happened without mishandling the wrist watch in any way. I did not encounter this problem with other automatic watches.
I sent the watch for repair, under the 2 year warranty. They denied to repair it under warranty and notified me of repair cost: 20% of the original watch purchase price.
I refused to pay anything additional to repair a lousy watch, poorly manufactured.
I did contact Longines Watch Co. Francillon, case number 00XX2722. They referred me "nicely" back to my service reps, with the specification as "we remain at your disposal and kindly invite you to contact directly the service center you visited should you require further information or assistance."In short, good bye and do not bother us anymore.
Please be aware of my awful experience with this "well established brand"....and good luck with your choice.
