"Not the best experience. We were looking for a new logo and decided to try out Logo Design Guru aka ZillionDesigns. Setting up the contest was easy although customer service was already calling me before I even committed to the contest. About half of the designs we received were not even close to what we had specified in our contest and many of the other designs were just multiple variations of one design. We did receive in a couple of great designs and were very happy with the one we choose. We then decided to select more than one winner which is when our troubles began. The 2nd designer would not produce the files for the additional logo we chose so the company said they were going to reproduce the design in house. The reproduced design, although very similar, was not as good as the one we originally chose. The colors and style were slightly off and they did not produce a transfer of ownership document for us nor an information file on the design. We asked for a refund if the company could not produce the files. It took weeks to try and correct this situation until we finally agreed to accept a rework on the design. We are still awaiting files for the the new draft and are not confident that we will see this to full satisfaction. I'm not sure why the designer did not follow through. In addition, another designer we selected apparently used an unlicensed font in our logo which meant we had to purchase a commercial license for the font separately. In summary, I'd say that if you are going to use this company be cautious of these practices. Personally, I would think twice before considering them again or I'd be very selective of the designers I went with."
"I am thrilled with the results and my experience! It was difficult to choose my final logo design because many of them were great. The designers work hard with you to produce exactly what you are looking for. You get many designs to choose from in the end. They are prompt and efficient and extremely helpful. You can contact the designers through the site anytime if you need to speak with them direct. Their customer service is exceptional! If you have any questions at all their customer service is the best! They are quick to respond with professional assistance. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend Logo Design Guru! I can't say enough about this company. I will use them again for my future projects."
"I was skeptical when I read their promotion but figured I had little to lose. Was I ever surprised! The whole process was pleasant from beginning to end and the quality of the designs submitted was superb. We were able to pick a design a couple days early- that's how good they were! "Innovative service. Company contacted me immediately via phone with details + promotions (nice touch). Received over 100 designs (ability to invite designers helped tremendously).
Only criticism is that many designs were a bit generic, so before you run a contest, make sure you have a pretty specific idea of what your looking for in a logo design, and provide directions of what you would like to see - don't leave it up to the creativity of the designers (there were maybe 3-4 designs in the end that were worthy of selection IMO).
But all in all, this is a teriffic service that makes choosing a logo design an entertaining experience where you have the ability to choose from many different designs and viewpoints."
