"Four "stainless steel, black matte finish" solar path lights sounds too good to be true. And it was too good to be true. I ordered these for $70 (free shipping) and received four PLASTIC solar path lights, dark bronze. Complained to customer service (admittedly quick and polite response) and was offered free return (a hassle) or a 15% refund. The refund would take days, so I opted for a return. Although the item was shipped from California (I'm in Oregon), return packages are shipped to New Jersey via UPS GROUND. Then, the refund has to be reviewed by accounting. Other customers have complained about slow refunds, and I can see why. So, Lights.com does fraudulent advertising (stainless steel vs. plastic), and is slow to provide a refund. Buyer Beware! "
"I bought some candle holders to go along with my tapper candles. I would have to say the company is great. I placed my order and made a mistake with my shipping address. I received a call from someone to help me correct the issue with my address. My order was shipped out the same day I ordered it and got it a couple of days later with free shipping. The candleholders were of high quality very sturdy and my tapper candles fit perfectly. I would totally recommend this company because of how fast and efficient they were with a quality product. "

"I received a chandelier that had clearly been returned and re-packaged. The box was damaged/re-taped, and it was missing crucial parts including the canopy, chain, and other hardware. I called the company and they e-mailed me a return shipping label. I had to go to the hassle of re-re-packaging it, driving to a FedEx location and shipping it back. (not to mention needing to find another light) It's been sitting at their warehouse over a week and I still have not received a refund or any communication from the company about the status of my return. "These reviews here can’t be about the lights.com that I dealt with. I bought two boxes of the white flameless resin taper candles last December and I could finally stop my search for the perfect candle. I just ordered another box and got them last Friday.One candle did not work so I reported that this morning to customer service and already a replacement is on the way. The woman on the phone could not have been nicer. These candles are truly great. No wires. Bulbs that are just bright enough to be seen from the street and flicker beautifully. The batteries last a very long time. The remote is cool. So this is one of the best purchases I’ve made in quite some time and definitely is one of my best customer service experiences."
