" Excellent service and very helpful sales representative who guided me to just the right grill at a great price. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but they had all the best brands at great prices and did not push me toward something which was more grill than was necessary for my situation. "This company is a sham. They were once known as Urbanhom. Please read my reviews at sitejabber.com and complaintwire.com. Do not believe their web site, they say they have improved quality and customer service. The BBB of Minnesota & North Dakota has 17 unresolved complaints. Shane McLaughlin has taken many customers to the cleaners.....do not be one of them!"

"This company is a fraud. Do NOT order from this company.
I ordered a chair in Feb 2011, and received several emails saying it was on the way.
Then in the month of June they stopped responding to my emails or returning my messages.
They charged my credit card in February but have not gotten the chair.

"In June 2010 I ordered a Wagenfeld Bauhaus Lamp from "http://www.urbanhom.com". A few months ago that website has been closed down and the identical site is now advertizing at "http://www.lightgreydesign.com/" - including the use of the same listed telephone numbers. As of today I have not received the lamp. Email inquiries generate an automatic response which is never followed up with a substantive answer. Calls are never answered. As tempting as the price and item displayed is, do not waste your money. After posting the above review on JabberJabber early March URBANHOM / LIGHTGREYDESIGN sent an email that the merchandise is being shipped. Today, April 19, 2011 the merchandize still has not arrived. Additionally, do not count on having the money returned.


About two weeks ago (May 10, 2011) I received an email asking if I still wished to receive the original order of a Wagenfeld Bauhaus Lamp. I responded that I do. On Friday, May 20, the promised box arrived – more than 10 months late. Nonetheless, the lamp is as described and is working properly. In my case it seems that, if you have the time to wait and if you are willing to spend the time on line to write the appropriate reviews while waiting, the company will deliver - eventually. I am quite satisfied with the lamp. Unfortunately, the less than forthcoming responses I received during my long wait soured my attitude towards ordering any other items from this company.

"BEWARE! This is a fraudulent company. They were previously called Urban Hom. I now know why they keep changing their business name. I had to file a dispute through my credit card company to get my money back. This company will take your money and will not deliver your furniture. They will not reply to emails, answer phones, or reply to voicemail once you have placed your order. I wish I had read the reviews from other customers who had the same experience before I ordered from them. I'm just thankful that I ordered with my credit card and that my credit card company handled the dispute."
