"I have had a poor experience with leatherup.com and will never use their website again. I was using the Safari browser on my phone to purchase a leather jacket that I have had my eye on for a while. I added one jacket in Large and added the Leatherup 2 year warranty. Unbeknownst to me the website glitched and added 2 of the same jackets. I assumed this was due to shipping costs due to the leather jacket being a heavy item (after the order was already placed I realized shipping on orders over $99.99 was free). I followed through with my purchase through shopify and was expecting to get a chance to review my order after I inputted my credit card info but it was not provided. I then found out that my order was placed for two jackets instead of the one I intended to buy with no 2 year warranty as I requested. I immediately messaged technical support to try to cancel my order but was unable to after it was placed and read in the FAQ that it was not possible to cancel an order. Although for some reason the tech support gave me a message prompt if I wanted to edit my order. I then messaged tech support during the day and told them about the UI error (that I was able to replicate without purchasing again) and my issue of a duplicate item in my order and got an automated response only telling me how to return the item.
When the package arrived I opened the box to try one of the jackets on and immediately noticed it was damaged upon opening. The other jacket came in perfect condition though. I am lucky the poor UI added two jackets for me because I would’ve had to pay $11.99 to send a damaged jacket back anyway. I am now awaiting Leatherup.com’s review of my damaged order so they can send a return label. Terrible website. Buyers Beware!"
"I needed to contact customer service because my order was shipping to USPS General Delivery but they had used UPS - not an option. They caught it and changed it from UPS to USPS, and it arrived at the Post Office when expected. Thanks for everything! Oh, and both pairs of gloves fit perfectly. I'm looking forward to my next ride so I can try them out."
