"Below is my last correspondence with LaptopsHome. this was written after 9 days of trying to get someone, anyone to respond to my request for a warranty replacement.

OKAY, it seems your customer service policy is to ignore requests and close tickets without responding or resolving issues. I will continue to seek redress through other means including contacting your partner/host companies, posting an accounting of this interaction (or more accurately inaction) on review sites as well as with my professional organizations of NAPP & ASMP warning all members NOT TO DO BUSINESS with a company who seems to believe in a customer service policy that can be best describes as "LaptopsHome customer service... We're not happy until you are not happy"... While that line might be humorous, your unresponsiveness and attempts to close this ticket without ever answering, contacting, or making any effort to resolve this issue is quite serious. I will purchase a new battery from a reputable company and will make it a point of principal to spread word of your customer disservice and will strive to influence and encourage others to NOT do business with LaptopsHome.com as well as its ancillary sites on eBay & GadgetTown.

"purchased charger for hp sept 16 2010 wire burnt at plug feb 2011 luckily daughters boyfriend noticed and unpluged charger because it had sparks coming from cord.is suppose to have 3 yr warranty.they say item # changed paypay trans # no match sent me email saying they dont know which charger i purchased sent them email w/description of what it fits and model # on charger.2wks still no warranty part no response to last email in 2days. "

"Bad company to do business.

I ordered a specific lcd inverter for my Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop. When I received it, it was not for my laptop model. When I contacted them and explained the problem that I had, they verified my order number, customer label number and also REQUIRED me to take pictures of their inverter (if I didn't have the camera to take pictures, I would have to suck it up) to prove that I really ordered the inverter from them.

After a couple weeks, I could borrowed a camera to take some pictures of their inverter and sent back to them, they agreed to return a refund, but they said I had to pay one way shipping cost even though it was their mistake. I already contacted my credit card company to dispute the shipping cost also, and hoped they could help me out.

Anyway, after contacting them multiple times by calling and emailings, I realized that they DID NOT really know exactly what kind of lcd inverter that Dell built in my laptop model.

Be careful when you want to do business with this company. You might have the same problem that I had.

"Worst company I have ever dealt with. Will not respond for support calls and don't even speak english. Don't bother trying to contact them about any warranty issues. Just a terrible company out to rip off everybody."
