I had an issue where I updated to Windows 7, and I've been trying to get a new battery for my laptop. There are plenty of 60$ batteries out there that come with a little CD to re-flash the BIOS. I've bought two of those already without luck, Windows 7 won't let a random piece of software touch the BIOS.

I found a $100 battery at Laptopbatterymag.com, and they advertise it to be "100% compatible". it turns out it's the same stuff as those $60 ones.

The WORST part, and the reason I'm writing this review, is that I specifically emailed them about this before I placed my order asking if it comes with a driver CD or if it will work out of the box. They specifically said "Don't worry, it will work plug and play". It's a straight up lie, and talking to them afterwards they are unhelpful, just prolonging the conversation.
