"Placed an order for a replacement battery after 3 PM on a Wednesday - after realizing that no stores carry batteries in our area - for our ACER Aspire laptop and it was delivered before NOON on Friday. It was shipped by UPS from Richmond, British Columbia and I was kept constantly updated on the progress of the shipment via EMail.

Inserted battery and it is charging as I type and I am totally happy about BattDepot's response...."

"Good response and shipping time; I ordered on a weekend, it shipped on Mon and arrived by Thur. The price was approximately 1/3 the OEM quote. This is my second replacement battery from Laptop Battery Depot for the same computer; the first replacement lasted 23 months. Some sources indicate that it is the number of cycles that determine the life of the battery: I estimate that it recycled 600 to 650 times. I do try to follow the LBD new battery instructions initial charges and recycles, not leaving it recharging "constantly" and recycling at least once per week. My biggest 'sin' would be plugging in when battery power drops below 8-10% to avoid having to reboot and sign in after a full discharge computer shut down."
