"received server hardware, used recertified drives, not necessarily a bad thing but they both failed after a week. replacement drives failed again. they would not replace any more hardware and dodged warranty calls and sending to voicemail for weeks. they also forgot to edit an email that was forwarded to us, which showed them buying used gear on ebay and reselling it at a higher price telling their rep to learn "how to make up a number and mark it up" . not totally trustworthy.. they need to get their act together - for now , avoid like the plague."
"Purchased a 146 GB 15k rpm Hard Drive that was supposed to be new. Hard Drive was not new. Scratches could be seen on the drive. Worse yet the drive was Dead On Arrival. When calling customer service they said they would replace it but said nothing about the fact that the drive was used. I did not have the confidence I would get a new drive and that the second drive would most likely be used as well. Decided to return drive for my money back and I had to pay for shipping back a DOA drive that was a failed attempt in clearly being pawned off to an unsuspecting buyer. Also customer service was going to charge me a 20% restocking fee. I had to point out I was making a return within 30 days... thankfully I look for the small print before purchasing from vendors. The fact that they were going to charge me 20% is bad enough... charging to restock a used hard drive that was DOA!? even worse... I would recommend purchasing from a more reputable company, as someone else pointed out it's run by bunch of Russians you may have a great experience or you may have one like mine or some of the others here... Personally I don't enjoy playing russian roulette ...."
"Our domain controller server had a faulty power supply which shutdown our whole network, LA Micro group was able to courier over a replacement within 3 hours. I never knew a vendor that would go above and beyond for a new client like LA Micro Group did for us, saving us a ton of money and downtime!!! They're my 1st go to guys now for all my IT needs. "F- Review for LA Micro Group. I called LA Micro Group to get a quote and they quoted me quickly, but when I ordered six Dell Servers, paid for them, picked them up, but they were incorrectly put together and did not work properly (RAID 10 would not work), and after 4 days of fighting with them and them telling me that everything was fine, I called out Dell. The Dell tech said they used the wrong RAID cable and the servers never would have worked. LA Micro Group did not even apologize but said "these things happen." I would NOT recommend them unless you like getting poor service from a bunch of Russians."
