"I found the classroom to be bare and mundane. There wasn't much color and the toys and available learning stations seemed old and outdated."

"The teachers have been excellent! The director seems to care about the children and it seems like she knows each parent and child. She also is willing to jump in to cover for a teacher. Unfortunately, this means that she neglects her director duties and it becomes difficult to communicate with her. It took multiple attempts to confirm a start date as well as multiple attempts to correct a billing issue."

"Jen promised so many things when we came and enquired before enrolling mu son. But most of the things are not delivered as promised. They don't take the kids out to play even if the weather is 45F above but before enrolling they said the school will take the kids out for play when the temp is above 30F. The snow gears that I gave to my son's teacher is just hanging in the cubby. When asked, the response that I get again and again is that some of the kids doesn't have the gear. The management should either notify the parents to send a gear or make an alternative. I am highly disappointed with this. Also when inside the room, the teachers aren't putting any effort to engage the kids. All my son is stay there bored and wait for me to come and pick him in the evening. Teachers are doing a good job when it comes to diaper change and giving food. but otherwise I am completely disappointed as Jen set a high level of expectation but is doing a poor job.I won't recommend this place until I see change in management."

"LPA has the ability to be a great place as there are some rockstar teachers. The teachers are making the biggest difference and their compensation should reflect that and it currently does not. The leadership at LPA hasn't been ideal since the transition and that has led to inconsistent staffing, confusion, and many unknowns. There hasn't been a day that has gone by over the past 3 months that we didn't think about whether or not the daycare would even remain open due to how much the Director communicated about not having any staff. The communication approach was defensive and led to a complete loss of trust and respect. As new leadership comes in I'm hopeful it will get back to the place it was 2 years ago. The teachers deserve more support, compensation, and appreciation for keeping that place afloat and never allowing the challenges they faced to impact the care they provided all of the children."

"Overall pleased with LPA. Although in the last several months we have been somewhat disappointed with changes implemented by the school. I realize people are struggling to hire staff everywhere, but the staff shortage is starting to feel like it's affecting quality of care at the school."
