"It’s gone down hill since we started going. The older kids don’t do anything/activities or even go outside. They only get to go out 1 day a week and that’s if they bring books for book club. The older kids are with the younger ones so when it is nap time the older kids are not allowed to talk while everyone naps. They don’t ever get to play with the older toys as they are in the toddler/preschool room. We are starting to transition out. We no longer have our kid spend summers there and starting next year we won’t be there at all. Honestly if it wasn’t for one teacher and our child’s friends still there we would have left years ago."

"The administration is poison to the facility because they chase off decent teachers and seem to keep the staff turnover rate at a shockingly high level. The corporate atmosphere negates any kind of individual child welfare action. This is the Walmart of preschools. Did they keep my child alive? Yes. Did certain teachers absolutely try their best? Yes. That all being said, the administration absolutely does not care about anything besides covering their own ****. They are dishonest and do what they can to make their administrative decisions seem like the best for the children, when in reality they are constantly playing catch-up to deal with their staffing problems. They either lied about state policy to my face, or badly misunderstand the policy regarding doctor’s notes. They also do not empathize with parents raising small children because they refuse to acknowledge that the world has changed since their children (now teenagers) attended preschool. I wouldn’t wish La Petite-Sun Prarie on my worst enemy."

"My biggest complaint so far is additional fees on top of a pretty lofty tuition. A summer activity fee of $120 that wasn't an option, but I have no idea what that money went towards. They didn't do field trips or bring in a specialist. This week I got a random fee for phonics. That should be discussed ahead of time. Additional fees above tuition should be optional."

"We love La Petite and are so glad we went with this location! The teachers my son has had have been amazing, you can tell they really care for him and the other children. It's so good to see how much love he's receiving while we are working."

"Prior to COVID we had an excellent experience and felt we had multiple ways to communicate with our children's teacher as well as the directors about concerns, next steps, classroom activities and curriculum, planning for milestones (like potty training). I completely understand that staffing has changed as a result of COVID, but I wish there were more opportunities for talking one on one with teachers without feeling rushed and more open communication about classroom changes (new teachers, classroom movements, etc). My son had a very difficult time when his teacher moved back to another room and he had a new teacher and we were only told the Friday before it happened on Monday. My biggest piece of feedback would be more open communication in the environment of COVID because it feels so hard to connect with staff. In normal times I would make a point to introduce myself to every staff member having interactions with my children."
