"Attentive, caring teachers."

"After my discussion with The assistant director, I was unsatisfied with the lack of professionalism, the lack of cleanliness and exercised procedures to maintain a healthy and safe environment amongst other things were not present.

The assistant director went as far as stating she hasn't walked the facility ( in that room) for two days, the conditions of the bathrooms were unsatisfactory, which led me to believe there is a lack of accountability to maintain the upkeep of the facility along with the safety of the children.

The condition of the room that as shown to me was well over 2 days of filth.

You couldn't determine whose creams or items belonged to whom. (no labels)

Along with, when I picked up my son right after lunch, before nap time, he was laying down on his mat with unclean hands.

Why wouldn't they would fail to get the children cleaned up before laying on their cots?

When I had a SCHEDULED tour at this location over a month ago this was not the condition that was presented to me.

Thankful that I was able to take awareness in the real conditions of the facility before it impacted my child negatively.

I've worked in childcare in the past for 8 years and these are things that are UNACCEPTABLE!

Parent are placing their trust for the care of their children in the hands of these caregivers and paying alot of money weekly to be able to go to work to provide for their families and their minds should be at ease when their child is dropped off.

THE PROBLEM starts with leadership and the solution starts with leadership.

Your center is a reflection of You. Chelsea is the director, is a very sweet girl, however that doesn't cancel out the conditions of the classrooms and the lack up up-keeping standards within the facility.

I hope their can be a rapid change, and my review will open up awareness into this matter. Until then I would not recommend anyone to this facility!"

"Years ago i loved this school because of the friendly staff, the curriculum that was actually taught and the cleanliness of the center. My issues were addressed and resolved, there was constant communication and actual learning going on. Now it seems the rooms are out of control, there is no communication from teachers or management and concerns are not taken seriously. You literally can not walk to the school age room without stepping on toys, books and other things all over the floors in the other rooms you have to pass through. If my daughter was younger and still in a developmental stage of her life there is no way i would let her go to this daycare the way it is now."

"I am always greeted so friendly by the staff, they seem to really love all of their kids even in moments of chaos. I watch the livestream quite often and on it for long periods of times and have not once seen a teacher express their frustrations. It’s a good feeling to see my child being taken care of and the staff remaining calm through the chaos ."

I would have liked to have walked my child into the classroom on the 1st day of school/daycare although COVID is still around, like I have done during peak-COVID times at other facilities. I wish more arts and crafts were brought home each day."

"There are several teachers at this school who really care, but unfortunately, most of the more experienced teachers who knew how to teach have been moved to other locations or promoted. Many teachers do not have the training or experience to provide solid curriculum, unless La Petite were to provide them with planning time each day, and ready-to-use curriculum resources. With a few exceptions, I do not believe sequential teaching and learning is happening at this La Petite location. We are paying preschool prices for a daycare experience."

"We absolutely love La Petite. The entire staff has been outstanding from the start. I would like to commend the Schertz location for going above and beyond throughout the pandemic. The safety measures, precautions and communication provided has been fantastic. In fact, I am seeing better health overall this year over last year. I would strongly encourage maintaining the temperature/symptom checks and limiting contact to pickups/drop offs after the restrictions are lifted. My child has had far less colds and viruses due to the precautions. The staff at Schertz are phenomenal and I am very grateful for each and every one of them."
