"Overall, it is clear that the staff is passionate about working with kids. We always know our child is loved and safe when at school. Less structure to the day than other schools seem to have, but we have seen such rapid improvement in motor skills and independence since our child enrolled!"

"Overall positive but the communication could be a lot better when it comes to special festivities, additional fees for programs like summer camp, and when schedules are altered. For example, we were informed that the school was closing at 4 the day before Thanksgiving when we received a call at 4:15. The communication from the leadership team could be better."

"The current assistant director has been very unprofessional. We frequently witness her talking loudly and unprofessionally on her phone during drop off. The conversations do not appear to be related to La Petite. Sometimes, despite being the first face we see when we come in the door in the morning, she does not greet us or even acknowledge our presence as she is in the middle of a personal conversation. We have also personally witnessed her being verbally disrespectful to young children. I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen her smile."

"Every single experience with La Petite has been positive. The teachers look so genuinely pleased to see our daughter when we arrive and keep us updated throughout the day. Since she started, we’ve seen so many noticeable leaps in her development. Our daughter lights up when she sees the teachers each morning, and we always feel comfortable that she’s in loving hands. Absolutely would recommend it to any parents!"

"I feel that thing have really turned around and become calmer and more reliable over the past few months. The atmosphere in the school for awhile just felt negative and off. I do wish there were a bit better communication about where my child is supposed to go when I get there or when they are going to move to the next classroom."

"We love our LaPetite teachers and staff! They welcome us by name every day. My children speak so fondly of their teachers when they are at home. Both kids go to before/after school care knowing that they are going to be loved on by their teachers. It makes it easier to be a working parent knowing that my kids are so well cared for and safe."

"Overall, great. Most teachers are amazing and they are busting their butts with staff shortages. I do wish the Director and assistant director were friendlier. They could communicate better too like when the infant room had RSV circulating and we found out a week after the first dx after we mentioned our baby had it. We found out about a Christmas concert that was lovely but like a week ahead of time so barely any notice. The communication could be a lot better. I’d also like to see more outside activity. Maybe they do go out often but my son keeps telling me reasons they didn’t go outside that seem odd."

"In general, we are satisfied with the school and staff. We were very close to leaving a few months ago due to disorganization and mismanagement, but that seems to have been resolved."

"These teachers care about the children. Never once have my concerns been unheard or blown off. They even go above and beyond to help the parents out. For example, pick-up time can be chaotic as the kids just want to be held by the parent but the belongings and paintings/crafts need to be gathered. So the teachers help either by distracting the kids by playing or acting silly or by helping pack up the kids bag. At times they've even helped walk the kids out when I have my hands full. I appreciate the director's decisions because I know her decisions are made with the best interests of the whole school and she doesn't give special treatment to individuals. It means a lot seeing that there are no favorites that get exceptions to the rules."

"Positive experience so far. I would just like to see more communication from the teachers regarding my child’s progress or things we need to work on at home as well as any upcoming events. I remember a day my child told me he had missed pajama day and that was not communicated to us, had we known we would have been prepared. We would also like it if there is access to a menu so we can see what our child is eating throughout the day since our child is not the most reliable historian. The only time I interact with staff is on drop off and pickup, which tends to be hurried due to myself being in a hurry to get to work in the morning then a line of parents waiting for their children as well in the afternoon."
