"Great peace of mind when I drop off my kids because I know they’re in good hands"
"There's no weekly lesson plan.Kids spend way too much time outside. 1 hour in the mornings before lunch and 2+ hours in the afternoon. The teachers aren't engaging with the kids when they are outside."
"The teachers are so loving and kind. The director in Mill Creek Danille Smith need more training, kindness and compassion to all the parents."
"First director didn’t leave a positive taste in our mouths when he gave us a weird “don’t care” tour before he departed, but we went off a family referral. Then all the class changes, Some of these teachers show up and look like they don’t want to be here. The director also has that same expression on her face too, and is never usually available to answer questions or redirects you to someone else to answer if she is.I sure hope some of the small things can change to make it more enjoyable. I know somethings are in works of improvement with new staff on board now. Only time will tell, as my child like it here and the friends they have made."
"la petite academy at mill creek is the worst school ever that you can trust and put your kids with them.
1st thing is the hygiene is horrible when you walk thru the preschool 2 class, you will smell pee coming from bathroom and the kids are smelling it all day long, which is affecting the kids health.
The director Danielle is new cannot manage the school because every time teacher are calling sick she close the door on parents and don't let the kids in to school and send short notice until the last minute, that make parents frustrated and the don't know what to do or where to put their kids if the director didn't take them in.
The bad parts was when she sent me the message at the last minute and telling me that she un-enrolled my daughter without any reason! even I texted her no reply, basically she doesn't care about the kids feeling or the parents feeling.
Finally I don't recommend you to put your kids at this school until they get qualified directors that can solve the issues instead of kicking your kids out of the school without further notice."
"Overall great! They were able to get us enrolled quickly and have been very understanding as various situations arise."
"So far it’s been ok, my nephew came here and he loved it so we enrolled our child. She had been adjusting ok to it but there are some teachers who show concern and help redirect, others don’t get a clue. We’ve had an item go missing which was in her backpack with her name on it and still got stolen."
"I would love to see teachers welcoming the kids during the drop-off. Create a personal connection when they arrive. During school time, it would be great to engage with the kids personally often instead of letting them find their group and play. Individual connection between the teacher and the child is essential."
"I really like the overall setup of the school. The director which I feel connected with Joseph Black is very helpful and caring with my baby. Have nothing but positive comments about Him and his staff."
"It's a great school, and the teachers seem to really love the kids and love them in ways that each child needs individually. It's no small feat. I do wish the price was lower."
"Staff is friendly and my kid feel happy around them"
"Thank you for bringing Mr. Joey to the Mill Creek location. Things have gotten much better. Tiffany and Bailey have always been great with our kids. Our girls love Cayll. We were ready to run out of there and had major concerns about how this location was ran while Tia was there. Since then it’s gotten much better and our confidence is being restored."
"Started rough but with some upfront communication and good conversations we are all on a better path."
"Pretty tumultuous. We are on our 3rd director in one year. Luckily the assistant director has provided stability through this turnover. Going forward the biggest improvement can be to the meal program with healthier well rounded meals and more routine deep cleaning to prevent various contagion. Also, the 7am start works for us now, but may be a constraint in the future."
"Our daughter attended La Petite Academy of Mill Creek for 4 months at the same time the new manager Tia Mcloughlin took control and we have seen that the quality has worsen. Some of the worst things we observed are, the academy is closed sometimes without prior notice and the parents are sent home with the kids because the classes are full. The kids get sick often due to the hygiene problem. Some of the teachers are nice but the management is very poor."
