"Overall the school is good, however, for the price, the school really needs to work on making sure there are enough teachers. It is unacceptable that us parents are being asked to keep our kids home from daycare/school because there are not enough teachers. I understand Sarah and Candice are trying hard to get more teachers, however La Petite needs to quit being so cheap and pay a living wage PLUS more. This is a hard job. We are spending almost $1500/month to send our kid here yet being asked to keep them home. This is one of the most expensive daycares in the area and having the worse turnover."

"I want to give the school rave reviews and while I know staffing has been an issue, it’s beginning to negatively impact my child. She constantly has subs, who don’t make an effort to connect with her or us, it also just makes learning and development inconsistent. And if she doesn’t have subs, she is being bounced from classroom to classroom, often to classrooms with children that aren’t even walking and do not have the same structure in their day, which causes her to miss out on age appropriate activities that her other classmates are getting. We’ve also stopped getting updates about learning and development activities."

If I had to complain, it would really be around the lack of communication around my child switching classrooms and some of the shuffling of students due to short staffing. I know staffing has been a struggle, but arriving at pickup, never quite sure of which classroom your child will be in is not the best feeling and I feel like breaks up the routine and classroom schedule they are looking for."
