"Just another dirty daycare"

"Overall, the staff and the teachers are very nice and welcoming. I feel like my son is cared for and looked after properly. He’s happy when I drop him off or shortly after I drop him off his teacher is always giving good feedback about him and his day, and communicating to me what he needs, or doesn’t need in working with me to meet my needs as a parent. I loved the fact that when we first started the numbers in his class were really small, it made it feel less like a day here and more of a home environment. Got a little concern when the numbers increased and they were more children in the room, and I feel like the room should be a little bit bigger to accommodate the growing amount of kids or that his teacher should have some extra help as I have worked in childcare for a number of years myself, so I understand how it can be him to have that many children in a small space it’s not good I would like to feel like the daycare was a little bit more clean and sanitized I would like to see toys been sanitized"

"My experience has varied greatly over the past year and a half. It’s been in turmoil that whole time with 4 different directors and a lot of staff turnover. They’ve had some terrific staff come and go."

"We have been happy with La Petite as they have the best prices and allow reduced rates for 2 holiday weeks. The pandemic has reduced staff as less kids are attending so we have a new teacher currently. I'd like there to be a mask policy for the children, not just the teachers."

"When the school has a director that provides strong leadership it is excellent. When there is a change in directors, which happens more often than I would like, or the director isn't providing adequate leadership it is not. Generally I think there needs to be more emphasis on getting the kids outdoors every day. Most days in Houston kids should be able to go outside. Also, I was sad when the TV got installed as there should be plenty of ways to occupy a room full of kids. The meals they provide have always been great."

"We have been with this school since our baby was 11 weeks old. The school is an older facility but the teachers are amazing and genuinely care for their students. Our child has thrived socially and academically here. We are very happy with how well her teachers have prepared her for kindergarten."

"As a first time parent, the experience has been good so far. There have been a few unsatisfactory instances but the teachers and Director have been very responsive in resolving them. The staff seems to care about the children and they work hard to keep the kids happy and safe."
