"I love La Petite. It is a bit pricey but I love the teachers and directors. My child loves it here too."

"Not great I believe the director does not see the true concern of the behavior or her teachers and instead of addressing the issues I bring to her she tries to find a way to make in my 18month year olds fault."

"I have not had a good experience with the school. When I toured I loved it and Ms Teresa made me and my child feel very welcomed . It wasn’t until Avery started with Ms Denetra when I started having trouble. I feel as if she discriminating against my child and makes him feel unwelcome. She had my child in time outs for over 30 minutes for taking a toy from a child instead of using positive redirection as the policy states. My child is 18months and this is very normal behavior for his age he has only been in daycare for 3 months of his life and has to get use to this change and the rules. She always tries to dictate my child’s friends and toys he’s interested in . Most recently she let my child watch everyone else eat snack and never gave him a snack and for lunch while all the other children where eating at the table she pulled his chair away from the table so he was not involved with the other children. I’m very disappointed on how she treating my child and it is absolutely unacceptable and needs corrected"

"I think the staff are great. There needs to be updates to the classrooms for me to feel like it is worth the money."

"The teachers are wonderful! However, I feel that safety needs to be improved with the entrance. Though, a code is needed to enter into building and to sign in/out your child, an employee should be present at the front to greet those who are arriving/departing with child, so someone can notice an unfamiliar face or any abnormal/suspicious activity. That is so important, because anyone can give out their code to anyone. Also, with mental health issues being on the rise, you can never be too cautious when it comes to children."

Special recognition goes to Mrs. Daphne for her unparalleled hard work with helping us get our baby enrolled. I trust that my babies are in the best care at La Petite, Bowie. The programs are tailored to meet the needs of every learner. I love the transparency the teachers provide by sending almost hourly updates with activities, meals and bathroom events. I must give special recognition to Mrs. Daphne for her unparalleled hard work with helping us get our baby enrolled. We had such a hard time finding care with EVERYWHERE being completely full for her age, and we needed a spot urgently. She assured us (just like all the other facilities did) that if a space opened up, she would notify us. She even recommended other La Petite sites we could try, and suggested going on tours until a spot opened up. No one called. But! Every day I dropped off my 3 year old, Mrs. Daphne assured me that she was working on it, and she would notify me. She kept to her word, and now both my babies attend La Petite, Bowie! Mrs. Daphne's integrity is paramount; she means what she says, and she says what she means. We are forever grateful for all her efforts.

I trust that my babies are in the best care at La Petite, Bowie. Their programs are tailored to meet the needs of every learner.
