"I recently purchased what was advertised as an unlocked phone from L2D2. Soon after, while traveling, I discovered that the phone was in fact locked and could not use it. I contacted customer service and they apologized and promised to send the unlock code within 24 business hours. It ended up taking them well over a week (7 business days) and repeated emails to finally send the code, which solved the problem.

Overall, I'm very disappointed with L2D2. I purchased the phone from them precisely because it was advertised as unlocked, which turned out to be false, and they took forever to fix it (well over the 24 business hours they originally promised). To their credit, I will say that their customer service was always quick to respond and did eventually solve the issue. But the bottom line is I was stuck abroad with an unusable phone for 10 days :\

"Ordered an iPad through Amazon. FedEx proceeded to lose it within Houston for several days, and L2D2 did nothing to help. Finally cancelled the order, and refused the package when it was finally found. L2D2 had the gall to charge me a restock fee, even though I never actually saw the item, and I assume it was never opened (although I think someone at FedEx REALLY wanted an iPad). Will NEVER use them again."

"I bought a tablet off L2D2 I do live in NZ so it took 2 weeks to get to me. I also ran into some problems with customs I tried contacting L2D2 about it but got no reply, it eventually got sorted out but still haven't heard anything from them. The tablet I ordered also has quite bad light bleed but I don't think its worth sending back as I don't think L2D2 will replace it from what I read on their website."

"This was my first time usint this site. I found it extremely easy to navigate, find what I wanted to purchase and extremely to complete the order forms. "This company sells phones with counterfeit batteries sealed in the packaging. I have no idea if it's L2D2 or their supply chain. The battery had no Nokia hologram logo and the mAh rating on the back of the battery was completely wrong. Honestly, you can get these types of batteries from eBay straight from Hong Kong for $5 each.

Additionally, I noticed the text on the box was slightly blurry. This could just be my slight stigmatism.

It's not worth returning the phone as it was only $48 + $10.40 priority shipping. It took the company nearly a week to ship this one phone out the door, and only after I reminded them, and before the holidays.

It took them an extra 2 calendar days to put it in the mail, no apologies I don't want to wait until next year for a return-exchange with a possible 10-40% restocking fee. I already spent $17 to get the real battery from Amazon direct. I don't want this thing exploding on me. ER is no fun.

On contrast, they also responded to my inquiry within 5 hours, which was fast. The phone was packaged well, and L2D2 included a couple of Indian to North American plug adapters. I just wished they included the real battery too, or at least an extra fake battery.

"I am in the market for a decent cell phone for voice and texting purposes only. I did not want a smart phone and be forced into a data plan in which the service provider would love for you to have. I opt for the Nokia C3-00 phone because this phone was built for heavy text/messaging users. Nokia did not come out with a smart phone in the C series until the C5. I decided to purchase the phone from L2D2 Online. L2D2 Online mentioned 48-72 hours processing which was met and sent the phone out for delivery. I received the phone (sealed with Nokia tape) and upon opening the package, I noticed the manual was written in Portuguese. Mind you, the website did not state whether the phone was for the U.S or International. I was hoping that the phone being sold in the U.S. would be as such, however nobody reads the manual anyway. This phone comes with an international power supply with adapters. The cool thing about the unlocked phone is that it can be turn on without the sim card installed. Nokia supplied a small amount of battery power to explore the phone. The phone was set to English, except for MobileDeck that needed translation on the internet to exit the program. Setting up WiFi was easy and online connection made simple. I have yet to disable data functions and automatic updates. Keys are a little small for my fingers (I have the biggest hands in the family), but the phone is well received by all whom checked out the phone. I give five stars to L2D2 Online because this phone may be difficult to come by in the U.S version, processing was in order, packaging was excellent, and the delivery was actually one day ahead of the estimate delivery date."
