worst service ever

"I am a 68 year old left leg amputee using a wheelchair for mobility assistance, as I do not get around quickly I wanted to buy a digital WIRELESS door bell so as to see who was at the door and communicate with them, I had a previous jaycar product so I thought I would purchase another but it turned out not to be wireless and needed a power point at point of push button which was OUTSIDE my front door (I have never seen a house with a power point outside the front door), this item never has
worked as it was advertised have tried to get a refund ($399) but was told it would have to be in original packaging (who keeps packaging when opening items bought through the internet?, therefore I do not recommend his store

"Dried to phone them for a delivery date only to be met by an autoattendant that states that I'm calling outside opening hours whenclearly I did not. Also the offer to talk to the operator simply gave more silence. At this stage I'm concerned that this is some cowboy firm. Well see if the respond to my email but I'm not confident.

After complaining to the magazine that distributed the their catalogue I got a response, asking for an additional £310 to deliver, their catalogue states charge to be £30 for order value up to £499 plus option for insurance at £2.50 per £100. Seem like a big difference to me. I have asked for my order to be cancelled and for a full refund to be made immediately. If these peaople are true to form I expect more proplems trying to recover my monies. How do these people expect to compete in the UK market When they are sleeping wilst we are working here in the UK. JAYCAR ELECTRONICS STAY HOME LEAVE THE UK ALONE YOU ARE NOT WORTHY!!
