Possibly the worst company you could part your money with. Ordered a couple of items a month or so ago, weirdly I had a feeling about them when I didn't receive a dispatch email - I now know, this was because it was never dispatched.
After mailing them a number of times, I then threatened them with a Paypal dispute. They send me a short mail saying this was the first mail they had received from me (funny that, just when the big boys get involved)and they will get back to me ASAP with my details - well, it never happened.
I'm now in the process of claiming my refund of $83.
Absolutely vile customer service and would love to see them pack up shop, go home and stop stealing people's money!"

"I ordered a model engine (1/3 Honda 4 Cylinder 750 Engine). Island Oddities said they had 3 in stock on 6/17/09. After I did not receive the model within a month of purchase, I called and they said they shipped it and I should have received it. After another week, I called and they said that the model was not in stock and that they are waiting to get it in. I gave them another week and called them again and asked for a refund. They have been saying that they refunded my money but I have not received a refund. I am out $46.35. I don't have the model and I don't have the refund. I feel like I have been taken and that I was given the run around. I filed a dispute but Paypal denied my dispute because it has been longer than 45 days after the purchase. Island Oddities is no longer answering the phone when I call or returning phone calls when I leave a message or answering my emails. "
