"We arecently stayed at your Holiday Inn Express in Barrie Ontario the older women at the desk was the most unpleasant i have come acrooss and the older gentelman also We were there to watch our grandson in a hockey tournament no complaints at all about room or renovations going on just your front desk older woman We asked for a late checkout because of making it to final game on sunday at 4 she told us they could not offer us one which that is not what it stated in your folder in room she proceeded to tell us they needed the rooms a complete lie we went back to the hotel to look for something we had misplaced around 315 that afternoon and there were only 2 staff cars in the parking lot we knew we would have to pay an extra fee but she didnt care she said if we do it for one we have to do it for another.My question is then why does it say you can ask for a late check out shame on this hotel and especially the rude older women at desk more than us had problems with the same person that weekend you had better look into her customer service skills very very dissapointed but now would not reccomend this holiday inn to anyone because of this.
