"Green and Grain, IPEC Foods, and the sponsor that funds these companies are all responsbile for misleading sales practices and false advertisments. The salesperson does come to your door and explains how the 6 month delivery of food in a commerical freezer works but fails to mention the freezer that the food comes in can not be cancelled or returned. Although you can cancel the re-delivery of food after 6 months you can not cancel the freezer and they purposely omit the freezer portion of the contract. They require you to pay an additional two plus years for the freezer and the value of the freezer is a thousand to two thousand dollars less than you would have normally paid for it at a retail store. Complaints made directly to their Customer Serivce Dept. is a lost cause because half the time they will not pick up the phone, disconnect you, or state that the person you are looking to speak with is not in that day. We are filing official complaints & may hire an attorney."

"BUYERS BEWARE !!! My entre experience with this company has been a nightmare from the start. After the sleeze lying salesman left we looked everything over again and decided to cancel before any products were delivered. They provided a cancelation form which was good for 5 days. We filled it out within a two days. We were told by a woman named Rosa that no charges would be taken out of our checking account as we opted for the automatic payment method and canceled within the 5 days. A few days later $290.00 was taken out of our checking account. Rosa said they were sorry and would electronicly transfer the money back to us. As we thought, we never received anything. A couple of weeks later Ipec foods hit us again with a $290.00 automated withdrawal. This time it cost us sixty dollars in returned checks and not to mention the embarrassment of two checks returned for not sufficent funds. Off to the bank and spent $30 more for a stop payment fee that is not guaranteed becouse Ipec foods can change the id number by one digit and bypass the block. The choice is yours."

"IPEC Foods is a frozen food delivery company. They approached my family as an alternative to shopping at grocery stores and convinced us that delivering frozen food every six months would be better. Food quality was also promised as higher than normally available at grocery stores.

After the food sale, they also convinced us to order furniture from their store. Promises of quick delivery and top of the line furniture and positive comparisons in price and delivery were made to brick and mortar retailers like Ethan Allen, Levitz and Raymour and Flanigan. As always expedited delivery was promised.

Timeline:
Order was placed on 10/19/2007
Formal Dining table delivery was promised in 2 weeks. Everything else was promised quicker.
When they delivered the table in mid December, there was visible damage on the table. After the delivery guys spent 4 hours putting it together and flipped it over, it was markedly and visibly damaged and we refused to accept the table. The table was returned and a refund was immediately promised. There's a variety of other furniture that IPEC say that they will NOT deliver.

Since then at least 100 calls have been logged at IPEC Foods. All the people I had spoken to upto this point are no longer available to talk to me - at any time on any day. These include Tarek Ramadan, the salesman/owner who came to my home, sat across from us and made all the promises, Helen Said - the person we spoke to umpteen times and promised me the refund, the cancellation of the food order and numerous other promises regarding delivery dates and a variety of other folks. The only person who answers the phone is Virginia and every day I leave a message with her with no effect. One time I heard others advising her to inform me that nobody was around. Priceless!

As of this writing I have the following pending items with IPEC Foods:

1. Remaining $3400 refund pending on my dining table (almost 6 months pending).
2. Non-delivery of half of my furniture order with no change in billing by Oak Rock Financial - their credit company
3. Non-cancellation of the food order. Still being billed by Oak Rock Financial even though order was cancelled in Jan 08.

IPEC have my number and can contact me if they wish to rectify this matter.
