"I probably would have rated this tablet 5 stars if it wasn't for my experience with the pen. The tablet is really good for the price, but the pen seems pretty fragile. Maybe I got a weak one or something (I don't think that I'm the only one if I look at other reviews), but the pen fell on the floor once then it started to malfunction, after less than a month of use. I tried everything on the software side, but to no avail, so I contacted the customer service. For my case, they were of absolutely no help : I made a detailed description of my issue, I made a list of all my attempts to solve my pen problem, but it's like if they didn't even read my email and they asked to do things that I had already done (multiple times, I'm really not a computer illiterate). I made a video a video to show the issue, but they told me that they could not see the pen while I filmed the screen; what does this mean? Do they think that I'm that ill-intentioned and that I would swing my pen in every directions when the camera is not filming the tablet? Worse: do they think that I can't hold a pen correctly? Then, I realized that the pen was working correctly but intermittently, which suggested a connection or pcb issue. After a few emails of that nature, waiting every time 24h or more for a useless answer I gave up, I ordered a new pen on ebay, as they would not trust my perspective... If it happens again, I won't buy another pen. "

"Impossible to contact other than email and responses less than clear. Asked about two tracing light boxes (actually acrylic slabs with LED lights) on Amazon with slightly different dimensions and little or no info on light output. When responses came, one insisted that Item A was theirs (implying the other was what- counterfeit?) but not giving the info asked about. A later email from a different Huion person stated that one was sold by the Huion store, the other by the factory, but again little info about the item itself. Finally went with another brand, identical in features and appearance (likely from same factory) but $15 less.. "

"I've been using Wacom tablets for over 20 years but was attracted to the low price and good reviews of the Huion tablets. Unfortunately, the tablet is not even close to the quality and performance of Wacom. The pen is buggy and keeps switching functions. And... if you're working on a Mac, there is no way to make the pen buttons a "modifier key" such as the "option" key. "
