Same as other reviewers - glassware with defects and incredibly overpriced garbage!

"I received 4 "crystal" whiskey glasses from their website, however what was provided looked nothing like what was shown on their website. They had significant defects in the glass (it looked like the glasses were welded together from 3 separate pieces!). Extremely poor quality for what amounted to an $80 purchase! I found higher quality versions of the exact same thing on Amazon (I should have gone there first!). I requested a refund, they sent me a generic form response saying I could send it back minus the $18 in shipping I spent + whatever shipping I had to pay to send it back to them! Ha! I'm not about to pay for a shady business's inability to properly represent their product. Had to reach out to my credit card company and issue a chargeback. Avoid at all costs!"

Awesome experience

"I see these reviews and I have a hard time believing these. The product I ordered was phenomenal and the customer service was even better. There was a confusion with the shipping, but homewetbar was great dealing with and even gave me a phone call to ensure we were on the same page.

I'm excited for my next order to arrive that I just ordered a couple days ago.

Received a defective glass and the company refused to replace it

"I was excited to find homewetbar.com online as I saw it to be the solution for any gifting needs I had for men. I ordered a glass and had it customized. The glass arrived with a defect. There was a buckle / seam through the engraving. When I spoke to the company, they only offered a 20% refund but not a replacement. I really just wanted the glass. They said all their glasses come with defects and they're not responsible for defects. I suggested then that they post that on their site along with pictures glasses with defects so that there are no surprises. Anyway, this was really saddening because I saw great promise in homewetbar.com. I've taken it to my credit card company to get a full refund. "

Very upset with product

"We ordered beer mugs from this company. We supplied artwork and they sent us a gorgeous proof to verify. Our product looks nothing like the proof. Management said they would give us a 10% discount on an $800.00 order for our frustrations. I told them to keep their 10%, that we would throw these 70 mugs in the garbage and move on. I wish I would come to this site first and as the reviews. They get 1 star from me only because I can’t give them a 0. The proof they sent me versus the actual product is probably the worse misrepresentation I’ve seen on anything I’ve ever ordered. I would show a photo If the site allowed me to. "

Terrible Customer Service

"My wife got me a tap handle as a birthday gift. The handle came with defects. First, the front is all scratched. Second, the T is not fully painted. It looks awful. We called for a return. The customer service rep said she could offer a 20% refund or a 50% discount on a new order. They will not offer returns on a faulty product. BUYER BEWARE. "

Terrible service

"I ordered coasters, and made a mistake on the date. I immediately called and sent and email. They got back to me two hours later saying they couldn’t fix it and I could not cancel. Even though when you call they say they are backed up. These are 60 dollar coasters!!! Will never order from this site again. I typically don’t leave reviews, but I had to for this company. "

"When messaging asking about shipping time, We were told it would ship the next week. So we printed out a picture of the product and gave to our boss as his Christmas gift.
When the item was due to ship, we received a message stating that the product was no longer available. We asked for something comparable and were told that leather was discontinued. If that was the case, why was it sold to us in the first place? We are really disappointed. I wanted to like this local company, but now have a bad experience. :(

BUYER BEWARE*******

"placed an order online last at midnight eastern time. I immediately realized that I got the initial in the wrong sequence when reviewing the emailed confirmation. So, I emailed them immediately at 1 in the morning asking them to please correct it before processing my order. I received an email back at 7 am eastern time, " they are on central time" telling that it is not possible to change or cancel my order. What! So I spent 150 plus dollars on a gift they are going to process and ship that has the wrong engraving on it!!!!! WTF unacceptable, unbelievable, terrible customer service!!! I tried calling then even though they say thier hours are central since I recieved an email before they were open but just got a recorded voicemail saying to NOT call and email. They called me back and still refused to correct and cancel my order. "

Below Average Quality - It's a Crap Shoot

"Over the past 3 months, I've placed 4 orders for personalized items and unfortunately, 2 of 4 items have been horrible quality, As all the items were gifts, I am grateful I had the items shipped to me and not directly to the birthday peeps.

First problem was with a tumbler, The name was smeared and last letter of the name was pretty much gone. They did replace it, however, being a gift, it was about 2 weeks late because they didn't get it right the first time.

Second was a wood sign. The name and verse were so blurred it looked like a 3 year made it. HomeWetBar did NOT STAND behind their product, didn't really care about the quality and I'm offended that, as a token gesture, they gave me 20% off the item.

BECAUSE OF THE POOR QUALITY, THE WOOD SIGN IS IN MY TRASH.

Who in the quality control department says "this looks great, send it out?"

HomeWetBar could care less about customer retention, quality control or pride in what they do.

SCAMMERS

"This company is a scam! I ordered something for Father's day on June 9th, delivery time frame was 4 to 5 business days. Nothing was on their website talking about delayed delivery. I never heard anything from them in regards to the item I ordered so I reached out in an email. They responded with, due to covid19 things are delayed. Again nothing is on their website stating this, And they were blowing up my inbox with guaranteed at Father's day at delivery emails! Asking people to place their orders as soon as possible cuz they guarantee it for Father's day, And that was 3 to 4 days prior to today! So they're making promises that they cannot keep, who knows if I will even get my item! I would steer clear of this site! Again ordered the item on June 9th, and it is finally the 21st and Father's day and the item still has not even shipped! And yet they are blowing up people's emails telling them that they guarantee Father's day delivery! SHAM and SCAM ARTISTS!"

"The worst company I ever seen!!!! I ordered a glass with a sign on it. Paid extra for 3 days of delivery. Paid $37 . They sent a dollar glass with no label on it. Sent it in 1,5 weeks!!!! I was totally shocked. You are scammers!!! Be careful"

Wish they had zero stars

"I placed an order even paid for rush personalization, received the item damaged. Contacted them right away on February 28th was told a replacement would be sent out. I received a deceiving email back from Orin stating it “might” not make it before Friday but followed up with a. Email stating he was sending it rush. This gave me hope and he did not tell me at any moment it would not be getting her by the date indicated after his last email. I get a shipping email containing tracking info, mind you it’s been 6 days after initial contact it was broken that I will not be receiving it by the date needed. This was very deceitful, I spoke with him on the phone needless to say if Mr. Keith Winters knew how he treated his customers he would be appalled. He told me that their was no one else I could speak with. If I had a complain about him I had to tell him my complain. He was the only person there and he had no resolution to my issue. I noted when he said it would take a week, i counted 7 days and it did land on the day i needed it and rushed to tell him yes to please help me. He took his sweet time now I will not get it on time, i had to purchase another gift and I am insulted by how this man is running this business. Questioned me with counting days and fought saying he said it would not get there which I have the email stating we’re he was deceitful. Do not buy from them, it’s a one man show. They don’t answer calls and this mad was just RUDE!!!"

Worst $200 gift set I ever got

"Got my DELAYED delivery today. It didn't arrive as promised for valentine's day. The quality is just unbelievable trashy. Glass is not clear, with some of the bubble in it. A lot of finger mark look stains cant be cleaned. The bottom of the wine bottle is not even leveled !!! Maybe someone will pay $20 for this toy look stuff, but definitely not worth of $200. The customer service is speechless. He just simply doesn't care and end the conversation on his own end. Be aware before you spend anything on them."

Decent Glasses, Bad Customer Service

"Ordered an etched glass set for my groomsmen. One of the names came misspelled, even though it was spelled correctly on the order form and receipt inside the box. Other than that, the glasses seem sturdy and look nice, though the etching is pretty hard to see and looks different than their pictures online.

I contacted customer service about the issue, and they responded pretty quickly, apologizing and saying they would send me a replacement glass with the correct etching with rush shipment at their expense. At this point, I was fairly happy.

It took over a week to receive the “rush” replacement, and the glass was misspelled again, despite still having the correct spelling on the order form and receipt inside the box. So I emailed customer service again and explained what was happening and that I am pretty upset at this point. Their response was word for word exactly the same as the first response— clearly copied and pasted, without any acknowledgment of my frustration or their inability to correctly etch the glass.

I’d give the company a one star rating (and will update this to one if the next glass is incorrect again), but like I said, the glasses are decent and they have been willing to send me free replacements. But their customer service, like many have said, is simply not good, and that says a lot about the company in general.
