"I ordered two items; a keyboard stand and a 2nd tier attachment. They were shipped separately from 2 locations (2nd tier west coast, keyboard stand from east coast). The 2nd tier arrived from FedEx first, and just on my doorstep, which was fine. The stand was brought to my door by FedEx the next day, but they would not release it to me unless I allowed them to scan/photograph my government issued photo ID, which I refused due to identity theft concerns. Hollywood DJ shipped a < $100 keyboard stand with an ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT!
Now I'm stuck in limbo waiting for FedEx to return the package to them.

"Disrespect or deceit. After placing the order, after 2 days they sent an SMS about payment of $ 50 for delivery. After the answer that "I have been waiting for the order for the paid cost for 2 day"s, they just canceled the order. Waste of time and nerves.

"I placed an order on November 23, 2017 and was given a conf# and it said I would receive tracking info within next few days. Now a week later still no tracking. I have reached out to their support email now twice with no reply. This is a Christmas gift and it would be nice to know what’s going on with it. To make it worse I tried to set up an account so I can track but it keeps giving me an error page stating I already have account, funny never created one so okay I have an account so let me do forgot password then... well now it says if you have an account a reset will be sent to your email. Okay it’s been 3 days have received a reset so I try again and still nothing! DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THEM HORRIBLE SERVICE!"
"Ordered two items from Hollywood DJ November 21 2016. Email confirmation read,"Your order will be processed within the next 24 hours and a tracking number will be emailed to you the next business day after your package has been shipped..." Two weeks later, no tracking number or contact from customer support that there was a problem. I contacted Hollywood DJ, asking when would my items ship and received no response. Two days later, I checked the site to fimd my order was CANCELED. Shady practices and completely nonexistent support. Will NEVER order from again!"
"Very dissatisfied. Placed order for a gear case online. Received order confirmation e-mail, but never received shipping confirmation. Had to call a week later, only to be told that the item is out of stock until end of January. They refused to honor the coupon code for the order since it was out of stock. Now I have to find another gift for Christmas. They were not very nice or helpful, despite my polite and reasonable request. I suggest going elsewhere for better service."

I've been a customer for the past few years, and overall, they are great for having a large inventory, authorized dealer for many different manufacturers, and good pricing. My most recent order was for a Global Truss TV bracket, I emphasized that it was urgent, and they were FAST to deliver. "Terrible, I order 2 expensive studio monitors, wait 2 weeks for delivery only to receive one monitor. SO glad I spend almost $1,400.
Customer service then argues with me that "they were shipped in one box" as if I cant tell an empty cardboard box from a full one. He returns to tell me his shipping guys forgot it on the dock and it was never shipped. They would also refuse to cover the expedited shipping I now needed and saddled me with an additional $250 just to receive the products I paid for when I was supposed to.
I have spent thousands of dollars flying talent out to work on music only to have the plans ruined by irresponsibility. Not to mention no interest in making the situation right and making up for their mistake. Basically "too bad, deal with it" was the response I got from a rude, cursing "shipping manager"
Wouldn't expect any level of professionalism from this place, which is too bad...they lost out on a ton of business from me.

"If you are an international customer, DO NOT buy anything from this company. When the company shipped my order they set the value of what I had bought at more than twice what I had actually payed. This means that when my order got to customs at the border not only did they get taxed, but I had to pay tax on more than twice the amount of money that I had actually spend. I called the company and asked why they did this since they knowingly set me up for a huge fee at the border. I was told that they insure the package at its maximum value so that if the package gets lost the COMPANY gets that amount of money back. When I pointed out that they were passing the expense of insuring the package along to the customer, of which there is no benefit to the customer, I was told "oh well, its company policy"."
