Poor quality fabric

"The item shdw01-32737-Peri Frost night gown I bought was completely translucent, I was trying to return it but nobody responded my phone, nor my email messages. It took me 6 weeks to get instructions from the store to return it and I had to pay $14 on postage fees because the store has no free return policy :("

Terrible customer service

"Too bad your customer service is terrible. Ordered bras 2 weeks ago. Confirmation said they would be shipped immediately. No tracking info on website. I called today only to be told they are on back-order and won't ship for 2 more weeks. Terrible communication!"

UPDATED - Bra's finally received but still Lousy Customer Service - Would give zero stars if I was able.

"UPDATE: She finally received her bras on 08/24. She liked one of them very much and I will be returning the other. Still not happy with the customer service.

On 07/31/23, I ordered 2 bras to be sent to my Aunt. A week later, I checked the tracking and it said it was out for delivery. I spoke to my Aunt that evening and she said that she did not receive them. I checked again the next day and now it said "no such number". That is absolutely ridiculous as she has lived in the same place for over 20 years AND the order that I placed two weeks earlier had been delivered with no problem. I tried calling the Customer Service number and got the "Sorry, no one can take your call at this time. Leave a message". I have called this number several times at all hours of the day and get the same message. I have left a voice mail every time. I have also gone on the "chat" and I have yet to hear back from anyone. The tracking shows that the item was returned to sender on 08/08, but as of this date, not only has no-one contacted me from the company either by phone or email, but I have not received a refund nor is there any information that they have tried to ship it again. This will be the last time I order from HerRoom as it is obvious that they do not care at all about their customers.

I still have not received the product I ordered for over a month.

"They mailed my order to the wrong address; I have been contacting the customer service people since July 14th 2023 when they said address was undeliverable. Now they are telling me that my order was sent to the same address that was undeliverable. Customer service is horrible. They have not delivered my order nor refunded my money. I've called multiple times and they keep saying that their 'manager will contact' me but I have not heard from any manager neither have I received Ed my order. Infact,, my rating from this company is less than 1/2."

Probably Never Again

"My order was split in two due to two items being on backorder. When I tried to return, I could only access returns for the smaller portion of the order. Also, I did not want to pay to ship back Two separate orders when I only made ONE order - Herroom split it. I get free return shipping at Bare Necessities. It’s great bc I can freely try things in without losing money. Then I narturslly end up buying more. Herroom website is clumsy & looked old-fashioned, like walking into a JC Pennies, & the fact that customer service is Central time to consider & that phone support ends at 3 (or 4?) Pacific Time, is totally backward. I then tried live chat but can’t help with returns. She escalated my issue, although it did nothing to help. I also left messages for help, which resulted in acknowledgement email but no help re issue. I finally scheduled time to call in the morning & at first, the woman did not understand the issue. But then she did catch on & was very helpful. Herroom sale was not as good as BNs recent sale of the same brands. It was such a labor - intensive, unpleasant experience & left me with such a poor opinion of the business, that it’s unlikely that I would ever make another purchase. Previously, I used Herroom to purchase a Berlei bra that I love, but Herroom has stopped carrying that bra. I’m also turned off by a man & how he’s posed on the end of the HERROOM boxes. Weird. "

My Review of Her Room

"I've settled on a bra, but not sure it's the right one yet. However, the thing I really like about this site are the helpful videos on how to get the proper fit. They have been invaluable to me as I try to find the right one. Department stores in my area don't have a good selection, and there are other troubling issues with those stores that makes online shopping more desirable. I'm confident that I'll eventually find the right bra."

Great nightgown but very slow shipping

"I have always like Thea nightgowns for their quality and detail and was pleased to find this one to replace an identical one I had that was wearing out. This nightgown seems longer than my original one and I am short. May have to hem it a bit and hope that does not impact the design around the bottom. The biggest problem was getting the nightgown. It took about TWO months! That is far too long."

inconsistent sizing

"I ordered 3 of the exact style and size I had bought in the past and that fits the best. Thought I was on top of the fitting a bra dilemma. (I also measured according to the bra-fit instructions on the site, which never gets me a good fit but I try every time.) I had to return all three, and have decided to always shop in person where I can try on before purchasing. "
