"Extremely pleased with the 59 boxes of Heidemann flooring we used in our new house. Extremely disappointed in the stair nose. We installed with the plastic track according to manufacturers suggestions. The piece that snaps into track tends to break off causing the stair nose to come off and trip the person on the stairs. After talking to Max at LaminateFloorsCheap.com, we learned that most installers don't use the track and just glue the nose directly. How are consumers to know this when it is contrary to directions from the manufacturer? THe flooring has a 25 year warranty, but stair nose has only one year. Superior Laminate Floors refuses to offer any resolution. This is a major safety hazard and should be recalled by Heidemann."
