"Absolutely horrible experience with Havertys. Paid $3550 for the villa Sonoma bedrm set. After a delivery hassle it arrived with an absolutely horrible finish! It looked like it was damaged & I refused delivery. It looked like am2'yr old took a white marker to it. Very poor workmanship. The store display did not look like this. They made excuses that it was to make it look weathered. No, it looked like junk! Robert & Dave at the Palm Harbor, Fl store gave lots of excuses, contradictions & outright lies. Finally I gave up & requested a refund. I was told I have to wait for a check from corporate & no date was given as to when I'll get it. I had my old furniture hauled away thinking I'd be enjoying a new bedroom set & after 2 mos of waiting & $3500 later I have nothing. Their customer service is awful. No accountability whatsoever. Nothing done to fix this. I was told I'd get pictures of a replacement so I could ok it & then it would be delivered in 3-4 days. All lies. Later I'm told it would be at least 2 weeks & that the other sets will likely have the same markings! I wish I'd have seen the enormous negative feedback online about Havertys before I bought this. "
